I'm more upset that when you lock pick the door the Vendor doesn't have a voice line "I'm free, I'm finally free" and make a run for it. When you first meet him you learn the BoS locked him inside the room to forever to just be a merchant.

Some people don’t invest in Lockpick, if I recall correctly this was an expert lock.
