We did not realize Van was from Belfast, Northern Ireland, a war zone at that time. He sings w/no Irish accent, so we did not find out 'til years later that he was Irish.

Unfortunately, teenie bopper audiences steer the entertainment industry in this country and they've steered it straight into glitz, glamour, fashion, shock, visual and techno effects and quality of music has gotten lost. If you just isolate the melodies of the so-called "music" by Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Miley Cyrus, etc., you'll find that the melodies are terrible.

That line is a repeat of the line in the first verse. The censors did not know what to substitute for the real lyric so they just repeated the line in the first verse to replace the line in the second verse that they objected. Yes, you modern kids, they censored this song for being too sexey!
