Just came back to your channel after years... I was young and wanted a beard when I started watching your videos. Now I have one, and got sick of paying 10 bucks every time I wanted my beard trimmed. I will be buying the Brio, and praying I don't mess my beard up with it!

I am watching to make a decision for a new trimmer, and this review helped to make up my mind. Personally, I'm gonna go for Brio. It sounds like a refined product.

I liked the combination guards. The only problem is one of them broke. I think your absolutely correct with the luxurious look and unboxing feel for the brio

You left out a feature of the V2 Brio Beardscape. If you hold the power button down it will lock the power so when you travel it won't go off and drain the battery. They have a power locking feature just for traveling. I love my V2 Brio Beardscape. Best trimmer ever!

Pain. The Brio looks really good. Can’t get it in Europe though. What other options would you recommend for your Swedish Lumberjacks?

I wanna see ya review Beard Club Products. It was the first company I used back when it was Dollar Beard Club, I remember it was mostly okay to get the job done but not omg amazing like some other products I use to this day. The Trimmer should be solid from Beard Club since I find their Beard Accessories are the best that I have ran across. I still use the Boar Bristle brush that my first kit came with when it was Dollar Beard Club and to this day never found one that could top it. Also, the comb is solid too, however, find the one that comes in the Every Man Jack Xmas kits works the best overall. Also, I wish other Beard companies did what DBC did with their original packaging. I loved how it looked (and smelled) opening the box with wood shavings as protective packaging.

I keep my beard really really trimmed down. I have been struggling if I need to spend the money but I like the brio. Is one better than the other for my needs?

QUESTION: Would like to buy my 17 year old a decent trimmer. He is not trying to maintain or grow a beard but, naturally, has a lot of hair. He “eats through “ all trimmers I have tried thus far. Is the brio specifically for beards? Would one of the Brio trimmers be ok? If so, which one would be best for body and face/ neck. (Please excuse my ignorance 😬. And thank you in advance).
@BeardTube Жыл бұрын
I would think alot of trimmers would work for that if he doesn't have a ton of hair. The brio is specifically for beard hair and one of the perks is the ceramic blade. Very hard to dull. Not sure if that's the problem with the other trimmers that he has been using though...

@@Badcomedy1 Good to know. Here is my long winded response 😆 I am currently using the ConairMAN Super Stubble. I trim my stubble 3x/week and cheek/neck lineups 3x/week as well (use a Gillette Mach3 cartridge razor but want to try an electric for lineups). I’ve had for 6 years and it’s time for a new one. I’ve tried many trimmers and can’t seem to find one that works best for my needs. I prefer easy length adjustments (minimal or no guard add-ons), powerful motor, long run time, and waterproof (just to rinse off for cleaning). The Brio BeardScape v2 is pricey, but seems very well built and has a powerful, variable speed motor with 240 minutes of trim time. It has a built-in micro-adjuster that allows you to set the blade to 1mm (the lowest setting), 1.3mm, 1.6mm, or 1.9mm. That would suite my stubble length ranges (can also use the 1mm/2mm guard). For cheek/neck lineups, I’d buy the zero blade (0.2mm). If I catch a good sale, can get the trimmer, zero blade and sleeve for about $120. I am also considering the Beard Club PT45, but the lowest setting is only 0.8mm.

Why would titanium on a ceramic blade make it any better? Titanium can't be hardened as high as steel. Ceramic is harder than steel. Ceramic isn't going to rust so that's not a reason why you might want to coat it. I don't get it, seem just like marketing bs.

you can aliso buy the extra zero blade for the brio if you need that close shave. i use that one for my head.

Saw the PT45 at Target today for $70 and it's on Amazon for $65. The Beardscape v2 is now $115. That makes the Brio a hard sell. The nuanced differences mentioned here seem more bias driven. The one legit area the Brio is better is that the blades swap and you can get their Zero blade, which is 0.2mm. However when I go that low, I just use a safety razor for a much cleaner look. I'm really torn, wanted to get the Brio as my travel trimmer, but felt the Beard Club PT45 in the store today and tried it quickly, it felt excellent.

Quick update, I ended up getting the Brio Beardscape v2 and it's the best trim I've had. Really smooth and gentle compared to my $180 Wahl. I got the zero-blade to clean up around the ears and the jury is still out on that one, compared to my Oster Finisher. Still need more time with it...

Beardclub is NOT worth it. I had this for 1 year and my battery is 100% completely dead. It wont even charge, it gives me an error even when it's plugged in. Very disappointed.
