Pro tip: if you use Stasis+ (the upgraded version you get in Hateno Lab, that allows you to freeze enemies), you can freeze the hinox and shoot its eye right after, when it’s still yellow. This way it won’t be able to cover it and you’ll be able to repeat the process until it’s dead. I realized this during the second half of his fight, it made it extremely easy.

Here’s a tip I picked up use the lighting rod to stun the hinox and before waking him up you can charge up an attack to get some early damage... hope this helps!

A strategy I found for the Hinox, bc I'm a bad shot, and this technique really helps get the eye reliably. 1. Plan early from other floors and have at least 8 bundles of wood. 2. The setup: Make "updraft zones" by building at least 2 large fires, each fire 4 bundles, 1 fire arrow to start it. 1 fire is fine too, but 2+ > 1. 3. Placement: Fires should be far enough apart to kite the Hinox and let you restore stamina for next bullettime updraft 4. The fight: After fire setups, pull aggro, run to updraft and glide up, bulletime arrow to Hinox eye, drop down and hit Hinox, run to other updraft zone, repeat til it's dead. Then finally relax ur butt muscles because beginning trials are done. Notes: -Grab that knights bow from its necklace. It will help things go by much faster -Don't let him fall down on the fire, because it will break some of bundles and you'll lose your updraft.

Alternate strategy; the Hinox's leg armor is metallic. Hit it with shock arrows and the hinox will be stunned for an open shot.

BeardBear, in the Middle Trials, in the room with 4 blocks and 3 Guardian Scout IIs, there's a magnesisable block on one of the blocks. You pull it out and there's a little alcove containing a chest with a Duplex Bow.

I just beat every single trial. And BOY is it hard. You will need a lot of prep for the final area. The final challenge is difficult! The cutscene for completing it is beautiful. And so is the reward. I Highly recommend buy this DLC.

dfutyut2 I agree completely that final one with that guardian, lynel and the bokoblin riding horses took me a while but it was super fun and amazing to play ( the full dlc took me the whole day to play and complete without any guides) The full master trials took me about 4 hours to complete. ( dying twice)

I liked the first 3 sets of trials in the Final Trials. I liked having to go against the weather elements. I didn't bother with horseback riding because I was too worried of dying xD I tried my best to take it slow and hide when needed. I just used Ancient Arrows against the Lynels. Did not want to deal with those.

I haven’t even gotten the Master Sword yet, let alone attempted any of these Sword trials. (BTW, I have access to all the BotW DLC via a Expansion Pass I got for my birthday a few years ago) But when I finally do get the Blade of Evil’s Bane (I intend to get it after I free Divine Beast Vah Medoh-I’ve already freed Vah Ruta), I will certainly use the fantastic video walkthroughs of yours to get through those trials! Pro Tip : If there's one thing you can cheat in other than Sheikah Slate effects (into the Trial of the Sword), it's food effects. If you create an effect-based foodstuff with a "Shard of (Dragon)'s Horn", you'll get 30 minutes extra of the effect thanks to the shard - I'd highly recommend using it with extra defense or attack up. Makes the trials a lot easier.

If you haven't beaten the Hinox by now, here's a really easy way to do it: there are metal boxes in one corner of the room, under the water. Grab one with Magnesis and repeatedly whack the Hinox over the head with it until the Hinox dies. Makes the Hinox room the easiest in the game :) I just wanted to share that advice with someone yay have a good day

There are 3 phases: Beginning Trials, Middle Trials, and Ending Trials. Each powers up the Master Sword by 10 attack points, so from 30 to 40 to 50 to 60

A crazy thing I learned recently is you Master Sword goes up to 60 damage, and glows when you're around certain enemies like Guardians, Haven't looked at it around the run-of-the-mill enemies, but I've read it goes up to 60 damage around any enemy under Ganon's influence. Kind of makes the whole Trial of the Sword thing a waste in the long run. It's only temporary though. When I first saw it I thought my game had glitched out, but it's true.

I'm a little late to the party, but I found out that you can cook wood and eat it for +1/4th of a heart per cooked wood you eat. I fed my Link tons of fiber. Bombed all the trees and cooked them at the halfway point room.

You know, there are supposedly Treasure Chests in the fourth floor as I had set my Sensor + to detect them, but I have no idea where they are or how to get them since the sensor kept directing me into a wall without any magnetic blocks to pull out or any openings I could glide into.

All of the trials are built on the same plot of land (kind of), which has been discovered by a glitch that allows people to pass through the walls of the trials. It's very possible that it was detecting a chest from a room nearby.

All I need is a way to get past floor 8 on master mode. I’ve done it before but by dumb luck. Any strategy to separate the two Liza logs behind the rock. I’m assuming I can distract them with an arrow while gliding towards them and the sneak strike from behind.

Tayelissa this video shows only the Beginning Trials. After defeating it you unlock the Middle Trials and then the Final Trials. All 3 Trials consist of 45 room total.
