Hey Jack, I'm from South Africa and I've been following your yeard from week one! I'm also 23 years old and doing the yeard, thanks for the awesome video's man. Last night I dreamt that some of my friends tied me to a chair and shaved my beard, as I blacked out from the trauma of loosing my beard I woke up with my dog licking my face. I'm glad to still be in the land of the bearded. Keep on growing!

Beard’s looking good, I’ve started growing mine out as well. I’m at about 7 or 8 weeks equivalent based on your video. Hoping the cheeks start filling in sooner! I don’t know that I’ll go a full year, but we’ll see!

While it is unlikely I will go for a Yeard stumbling on to your videos have inspired me to grow out a full beard as opposed to the Vandyke that I have kept since my late 20's . I think my biggest challenge in growing out the rest of my face and under chin is not shaving up to my jawline and using the two finger method to find my neckline .

Hey Jack, since Summer is right around the corner and it is getting hotter, and swimming may be in the future for our bearded brothers, do you think you could cover some ways to prepare and protect your beard from swimming. I'm sure that chlorine wrecks beards, and some tips would be helpful.

Hi! I wanna know, i let grow my stache for almost two months about 1 1/2 cm long, i never applied any oil or balm. I just try wax and comb with blowdryer... But my hair is like spikes shooting out of my lips and can't style it like handlebars or even leave them combed well....just in case i didnt cut much hair just some strays. What can i do? Do oil or balm would make my hair less hard and would let me tame the mustache?📣Please, HELP!!!😓.👋👋👋🎆💈

Jack- Thanks for the weekly advice.. I always look forward to these vids on Friday. Could you make a video going into more detail on split ends? They were the reason I shaved my first big beard. Looking back I think it was a drastic move on my part. Thanks!
@manirajmanimuthu91106 жыл бұрын
Nickypoo 92 Brother. Take a visit to your barber. They will be able to give you a gentle trim on the ends of the beard where you see the splits and that should usually help. And regular maintenance of your beard help you reduce the instances of the split too. Cheers.

Mine doesn't grow much up my chin. Anything up my chin (small triangle w/soul patch) grows very slow and blonde w/no connection to mustache. I want to grow a yeard. Though I always get about two months in and end up shaving off and restarting... I think I'll give it a real try this time. I hope.

What should be done to deal with patches in the beard?
@theracingdaedra68686 жыл бұрын
Bob Lettermen growing it out, most of the times the patches grow in or get hidden by other hairs. If you have given it time. Find a style you like or just make it your own style

Beard envy is strong! I just started using beard oil (despite only having just longer than stubble) and it's actually one of the greatest things I've done!!! Only problem I have now is that occasionally the hair sits in the wrong direction and kinda hurts... a bit like when ya wear a hat all day and then take it off and try to move ya hair back to its natural position (if that makes any sense) any advice for this? Cheers mate!!

What do you do if you don't have hipster beard shops around to do professional trims? I live in the Memphis, TN metro area.
@thomasnightingale34066 жыл бұрын
Brandon Hale learn to groom your own beard. I honestly believe barbers are invested in chopping in contrived styles which look good for a week or two but needs redoing thereafter. Business sense. In my opinion it’s best to groom a beard into shape and style, keep it healthy and trim as little as possible.

I just shaved my beard off! 15 weeks growth. Noooo my face looks weird now. It was a little thin around the soul patch area, and a little wispy in general but had very decent growth. It was just annoying the hell outta me. I bought some good product and that helped a lot. To anyone growthing their beard. Buy good products! It makes the world of difference. I will endevour to grow a beard again in the future now that I have more experience with my growth potential and shape. To people out there who are wondering. Just try it and see.

Hello jack I have more thicker beard than yours, I ride my cruiser and my beard is flying out from my full face helmet, but negative thing with thick big strong bushy beard is where ever you go people staring at you, in my case I am quiet sensitive about people for no reason staring at you, even I have to face criticism from my wife and my kids, I don’t shave my side lines, why should I a complete beard looks more beautiful. I just know one thing a male lion without his full beard or hair on his mane, will be like a bull dog, a full thick beard is like majestic look, and every man does not have a thick strong beard, it’s I am lucky to have a strong thick beard, I have also long hair uptill my shoulders, because in my opinion, with a full thick majestic beard I need to have long hair so it’s a match with my thick beard, shortly I don’t care for people what they think about me, because it’s a famous saying it’s very difficult to please people so do what you like when I see my face in mirror with thick beard and long hair I love my self and my looks, so I am a self lover. By the way all heinous crime committers including sex offenders, rapists, thugs even terrorists are clean shaven, because they take an advantage of their clean looks😅
