Honest opinion: who needs hair on your head, when you’ve got a beard like that? If I ever go bald, I’d like to have a big ol beard in return
@jmr61175 жыл бұрын
Johnny Taylor so true ! For example i have a huge beard ,now in the 50 i am getting bold but my brothers have i nice beards but not like me and the aint bold ...am the yonger one...
@flybeep16615 жыл бұрын
@@johnnytaylor1243 I'm bald and can grow a mighty full beard (and have done so). The good news is the thing that cause male pattern baldness (especially if you get it early like in your 20s) is also the same thing that cause good beard growth. It all has to do with DHT (Dihydrotestosterone) which is made from testosterone. So if you have a higher level of testosterone it's more likely you'll produce higher than normal level of DHT which cause male pattern baldness. The good news is high testosterone levels also gives good beards. So in short if you have early male pattern baldness the chances are good you'll be able to grow a strong beard. If you have both strong beard growth AND a full head of hair then you kinda won a genetic jackpot. Btw, it's "bald", not bold. Seriously bold means something completely different.

Don't be self conscious about it. You have to go threw the awkward stage to have a beard. Just let it grow my friend. A good natural beard oil will help with the itch. Growing a beard can be life changing. Best of luck.

The part where he adds product and then blow dries it out before trimming goes against everything I thought you are supposed to do before trimming. All videos I've watched say to never put product in before you cut it. Just water and air dry before cutting. Thoughts on this?

This is why you never let anyone touch your beard. He completely butchered the sides and turned it into an entire different look. And straightening+product in the beard before trimming? Really?! When he showers and washes his beard, he will find it uneven as fuck because you've trimmed it in an unnatural state. Unbelievable.

Same.. Wish i could find one near me too, but all the barbers ive seen and tried a beard trim they have always butchered it. They end up cutting you like it head hair. Taking the guides straight in which takes too much off or even length cuts which destroys months and months of growth
