I know this video is 3 years old, but I really appreciated the demo and good explanation. I am in my 40s and grew out a beard for the first time. I had a barber shape my neckline, but with everything being so expensive, I needed to be able to trim at home. This video helped make that happen, and the end result looks great. I'm going for more of a "this is Sparta!" than "it's over Anakin, I have the high ground." :)

I shake a little so I get nervous about shaving my beard without comb lengths. I use the Remington Quick Cut Hair Clippers with Curved Blade with a grade 4 comb attachment. Also use it on my head at grade 2. It does a great job on the beard.

Nice job. Excellent! Eric, how is the Wahl Senior Cordless 5 Star for beards? I just bought one for home use on my beard. I want to use it to cut down the length whenever it gets to long, not for the shaping. I used an Oster 76 classic for many years but it finally broke. I also bought the plastic guides with the metal clips. Do you think that was overkill? And even if it was overkill do you think it will be great for the job? Just for cutting the length? My concern is not with saving $, I just want to use the best. Or do you have any other recommendations? Thank you.

Woo - welcome to the party, man. 🎉 Depending on where you're at in the journey, it's common to navigate through patchy areas in the beard within the first 90 days of growing. Depending on how how your facial hair grows, you can work with different styling techniques to help disguise them. Either way, we've got you covered in the journey - let us know how we can support you. Cheers! 😎 -Sly

I have a pimple right now at the exact same spot as yours. And 2 months ago i had 2 pimples and they merged like a carbuncle. What causes this?
@drewskiv6864 жыл бұрын
Sounds like you’re cutting with a razor that has multiple blades. May need to use a single blade as it will give you the cut you would need in the neckline without the ingrown hairs. Multiple blades on a razor will cut your hair at an angle and beneath the skin that it will cause ingrown hairs and irritation. Hope that helps
@Vermithor004 жыл бұрын
@@drewskiv686 I'm using a straight razor. Yet pimpled grow on my neck and under the chin (even if i dont touch this area). My main theory would be the skin on my face and neck is causing oil build up and is not at it's best condition.
