Hey, I've got this mouse and it just will not charge the battery, I've changed the battery with 2 different ones. It'll work connected to the cable but always reports the battery is at 2%. If I unplug the charging cable it'll say on for maybe 30 seconds then cut off, any idea what it could be ?

Hi great job on the video! I just wanna ask u if I could use the g502 scroller on the g703 as I need to replace my g703 encoder scroller thing.
@jaykkng2 жыл бұрын
Just desolder the old scroll wheel encoder and solder in a new one The g502 scroll wheel isnt that worth it as its quite heavy and u would have some trouble tryna put it in

@MikeJones-wp2mw2 жыл бұрын
I took mine apart because the left click was getting a bit twitchy and double clicking when I would try to drag and drop things. Put it back together very carefully and now all my buttons don't click at all. Took it apart and put it back together a few more times and now it sometimes clicks now. I think I damaged the ribbon cable, possibly pinched it putting it back together the first time. I don't know what to search for as a replacement part. I'd replace the switches if I could get the parts and knew that was the problem. Put some new skid pads on it too if they are available. Is there a parts supply website?
@weetabixharry2 жыл бұрын
I'm here trying to fix exactly the same problem. I've only had the mouse for 1 year, so maybe there's a bit of a design problem. It's the first "expensive" mouse I've ever owned, so it's really disappointing that it's failed so quickly. The cheap garbage mouse I used previously probably lasted for a decade without any problems.
@weetabixharry2 жыл бұрын
I broke the little plastic retention bracket on that ribbon cable, so I had to reseat it 5 or 6 times to get it to grip, but it did in the end. I'm still going to have to bin the mouse, as the left-click is still playing up. It's really annoying because if I push hard, then it works okay.

Is there a space to replace battery for a bigger one? Or to add one more in parallel? I've seen on Aliexpress there are 2200mA/h batteries compatible with G703. Wow, it's only 250 mAh, so small battery. What if replace it with 2000mAh?))

the shaft on the scroll wheel is horrible and the weakest link for this mouse, mine broke after 1 year.
