I'm just waiting for a different mouse that has both smart shift and a side scroll wheel and I'm probably switching right then and there. The only one even close is the Basilisk V3 but that doesn't have a side scroll wheel and their version of smart shift just isn't as fluid and responsive as Logitech's.

I work retail. Ive recommended logitech products for forever. I like bigger mice because I have bigger hands so I had a G502 X Plus. Came out in August 2022, I bought it in November. When mine was having issues staying connected I only wanted tech support because I thought it may be a software issue not the actual mouse. They asked for the serial number and proceeded to tell me it was 1) Out of warrenty, which is impossible as it has a 2 year warrenty and even if I bought day 1 that is in August this year. And 2) Said that it was a refurbished mouse. I bought it from THEIR amazon store page as a new mouse. They have since not responded to any of my emails asking for help because it is "out of warrenty". I immediately went and replaced all my logitech gear and no longer recommend them to customers.
@guyinpajamas98186 ай бұрын
Amazon has a habit of shipping refurbished products even though you select "brand new". Easiest way to tell is if you are able to find a white sticker that starts with LPN. This has happened to me several times and I'm glad that sometimes it's very obvious when something, especially tech has been repackaged. I'll find the LPN sticker to confirm my suspicions and immediately start the return process. They usually give me a brand new one on the second attempt, for now.

It feels like Logitech has lost their way. I remember the days of the Logitech G5 mouse, I bought it for 50 euros and it was the best mouse on the market. When it broke after 4 years and I didn't have the receipt they just shipped me a new one and asked for me to return the old one so they can inspect it. They also did this for some speakers I had. Somewhere along the line tho their quality started dropping both on hardware and customer support. I had a G603 (I think) wireless mouse which had double clicking issues despite me not using it much, but after 4 years no warranty (despite it being a well documented issue) and they only offered me a 25% discount on their overpriced store. Also one of their headsets broke at the shitty plastic hinge after just 2 years and I also didn't get any warranty on that. I'm noticing issues with my G pro wireless as well, and it's also out of warranty. I'm super happy with my Drunkdeer A75 hall effect keyboard that cost me 120 euros. Best keyboard I've had hands down, and very comparable to the Wooting (just not the best software). These days I'm not looking at Logitech as a first choice anymore, especially at the premium they're asking for budget gear.

Someone had to say it and I'm glad you did. A few years ago, I decided to go with full-setup Logitech peripherals. The keyboard I chose was the G915 in full size. The letters and numbers on the keys started to fade after a few months. For the mouse I went with the G Pro X Superlight which had some issues with the scroll wheel where I would try to scroll down but it would scroll up instead. I received a replacement mouse but it had issues with the clicks. Holding down the clicks for more than 2 seconds will result in them releasing even though I was still holding them. The third replacement was lucky, it only has some wobble but it's acceptable. The headset I bought was the wired G Pro X and after three months the sound in the left side was more pronounced than in the right one, and a week later the sound in the right side completely disappeared. I purchased the G Pro X v2 wireless headset and they make a sound as if something is scratching inside, randomly, like a popping/cracking noise. This was the last product I bought from Logitech.

i had been using a corsair hs70 wireless headset i bought when i got my first gaming pc a few years ago. when i finally tried to upgrade last year - knowing much more about pc gaming at that point - i tried the g pro x v2, partially for convenience since i was still using logitech m&k. only having to use one piece of software was alluring. however, at 100% volume on *everything* the audio was muffled & surprisingly quiet. yes, firmware/software was up-to-date & g hub was functioning as expected otherwise. returned to place of purchase to swap out & had the same problem with the second unit. returned again for a refund & decided to try the very well-reviewed audeze maxwell headset. sound quality was fantastic on those, but they had a fatal flaw (imo) in which any video, song, or media source i tried would have zero volume for the first few seconds after play/pause with no apparent way to correct it. audeze customer support was arguably the worst i've ever encountered, unfortunately. after weeks of absurd back-and-forth emails, i was finally able to return the maxwell & eventually receive a refund. ended up replacing the battery on the aging corsair unit with a higher-density cell then replaced the ear cushions & am still using it daily. --- filed under "i'm frustrated and this is good enough lol."

Honestly, what did they even EXPECT with this keyboard? The first time I’ve ever seen this keyboard is by HipyoTech’s review. It was absolutely so insane, hilarious, and especially disappointing from a big brand like Logitech to even produce something LIKE this. It looks very basic, and I bet it feels basic as well. There’s no KEYCAP or SWITCH puller, and for the keyboard modders out there, if you wanted to hotswap it for different keycap, you literally can’t. You can’t switch to any other keycap if you tried. The software looks ridiculously mediocre and boring in my opinion. I gotta say, I have never been a fan of software. Hell, I have an Apex Pro Full from SteelSeries, and holy SHIT, it is annoying. The software has garbage I don’t use, in which the only thing I use is the “Engine” for the custom actuation points (Rapid trigger is included as well). Overall, for Logitech, they are in hot water, and I feel like it will only get worse in my opinion in the future if they keep releasing terrible stuff like this. For the epic of $180, being nearly the price of many high-tier keyboards today like the Wooting and some of its competitors, I find that so BS and hilarious that people would buy a keyboard that probably isn’t worth its high price tag.

No, it is not. Logitech has been bought by an investment fund in 2021. It takes a few years until the shift becomes clear to the consumer, as old products with a few tweaks are being sold as "new" are being released. As an investment company, you want to maximize profit, while minimizing expenses (this works well for food, agriculture, cars, etc, not so much for "high end" peripherals). This was inevitable, and easily foreseeable for anyone who reads any news, ever. Going forward, Logitech will continue to release "parts bin" products priced as premium, until the investors recoup their money, sell licenses and trademarks, or various divisions are bought by various companies who then churn out various products using the Logitech name (see Philips), or they go bankrupt. The wider context is super important. During the pandemic, sales most likely went up, and based on the really positive but very incorrect forecasts, tons of money would have been invested in the wrong direction, money which now unavailable for fast enough and high quality R&D. As such, churn out old tech which you then try to pass as "current gen", fresh, flagship, etc. Sadly, it takes a long time until this becomes clear in the sales figures. Expect many years of even worse products.

Keyboard releases are dumb, mouse improvements are either nonexistent or minimal (i.e. the GPX 2, g502x), i dont know much about logitech headphones. All while Logitech has been charging more for less.

As a casual gamer, I love my $7CAD ergonomic mk710 value village special and I have very few, very minor issues with my $80CAD MX master 3s Kijiji special. Logitech is good at what they're passionate about, and it's clear they're not passionate about gaming, they just saw a growing market, and then saw they didn't have to try for people to buy their stuff. Especially when it comes to manufacturing a southpaw version of their ergonomic designs.

The big selling point for Logitech, which you talked down, is the wireless feature. The Lightspeed technology has the best latency and reliability of any company. A lot of people actually do care about wireless. And when it comes to the pro scene for a game like CS, the best player still favor Logitech in a lot of cases. It's a new layout KZbin was testing out. Premium subscribers got early access so that KZbin could gauge how well people would adapt/like it. The comments and video description were smashed to the side, kinda like you would have on YT Shorts, and if you scrolled down to where the comments would normally be, it looked like the homepage of KZbin with more video recommendations in the grid-like display. Needless to say people didn't respond so well to the layout. I personally wrote a review on their survey saying that while I appreciated the effort, they can fuck off. I like seeing the community over having more videos shoved in my face, if I needed that I'd just go back to the homepage or open a new tab.
