Awesome video ! Trucks with emissions and egr 🤯 always a pain in the A$S ! If it weren’t for emissions life would be much easier on trucking companies for sure ! Keep them coming that was an excellent video !

Pretty interesting information indeed brother. And on this particular project it seems like the external leaking is a lot better than the internal leaking as far as cost and time to fix. Thanks for sharing.

thank you!, gotta love the added cost of epa 2013 requirements, mandates, etc, which is kind of adding more things on to engines that can break... at least these dont have some of the challenges that diesels have, but true, better external leak than internal for sure. thank you for watching!

Great video thanks brother. Sounds like you have a lot going on. Great information and how to find the problem. I have never seen this kind of set up. I keep thinking about the oil cooler and try to make sure it's the problem. I think it's the old school in me. Keep up the great work see you in the next video thanks again brother

Hey,man I've worked on pretty much just the trailers and a little bit of light maintenance on the tractors. I saw a job posting about a cng mechanic do you think I would be a good fit, I have two tool boxes that I've had for ten years now, I've just had some bad experiences with crappy shops I haven't been in a shop now for about a year and a half, but dammit I really want to get back into it, just don't want to work at a crappy shop, would you recommend someone who has Done light maintenance on these to work on natural gas stuff like this?

Just as with trailers, parts all together on these things can be heavy, but for someone with some electrical and regular class8 knowledge they arent too hard to get in to. All of the rest of the truck stuff (if a kw or freightliner etc) has their own side of things, but as far as emissions goes has alot less on them than diesels. Once you get the hang of them they are fairly simple engines. Hope this helps and good luck!

Wouldn't the engine hydro lock from all that coolant? You do have some of the best vids for trucks!
@BeardedSeabee826 жыл бұрын
with the increased combustion temps on these engines over that of diesels the coolant is vaporized, but will still crystalize in every nook and cranny that it can while in an atomized state, it sure can make a mess of things though. Thank you for watching Bill, Hope all is well your way!
