The laugh was definitely the sound of a train's wheels clanking along the tracks echoing in the graveyard. You can hear the train moving while the clangs are happening and you hear the horn at one point. Living close to trains makes that clanging sound extremely recognizable.

Sleep paralysis is one of my biggest fears. Ive only experienced it twice, but those 2 experiences were enough to make me think about it every night when i get in bed. Ive always described my sleep paralysis monster as a witch. Not because she has the pointy nose, hat and green skin. But because she felt like she was trying to do something horrible to me from the hallway. Its absolutely terrifying

I'm Scottish and Clune Park is well known to be inhabited by homeless people and is also used for drug dealing. To me at the clip with the window I saw what looked like someone with blonde hair probably annoyed that someone was shining a light directly in the window of the room they're inhabiting. I'm sure they're used to avoiding urban explorers and just want to be left in peace. Just discovered your channel Beardo, love your content!

I have sleep paralysis. It happens maybe once a month on average for me and it's the scariest thing I've ever dealt with. Maybe it is just your brain waking up before your body but when it's happening, it's terrifying. And why is there never anything positive standing in the corner? I've wondered that as well. It's always something that feels evil and not once has it been positive.

Sleep paralysis sounds trippy. You may have a medical condition and might want to talk to a doctor about that.

@Mike D Dam that's a bummer. I hope that your going to be ok. Maybe try sleeping with an eye covering mask of some sort so that your eyes are covered and you won't be able to see any creepy shapes in your room when you wake up.

Just in case nobody has said it yet. The first clip is fake. I watched a video, i don't remember by who, but they went frame by frame and there's a VERY sneaky cut in it when the camera is all shakey and going around the cornor and into the bus. I've only had sleep paralysis a few times. I don't recall seeing anything distinct, but did get a weight on my chest and had trouble breathing for a bit. Only saw the darkness of my room. The final time I had it was the most scary. I woke up, couldn't move but saw something seem to enter my room from the hallway. It stayed there then lunged at me. The movement broke the paralysis and I shot my hand up in defense and it was gone. My sudden jerk of movement also woke up my fiance who told me nothing was there, go back to sleep. I had told her about seeing/hearing things before.

Hi Beardo. I'm a sceptic but really enjoy your videos. Your personal views on the paranormal and the way you believe investigations SHOULD be conducted has actually made me slightly more open minded. I've been binging your videos for almost a month. I just wanted to chime in on the sleep paralysis thing as someone who has suffered from it badly my whole life. Reoccurring sleep paralysis can be linked with PTSD or form of trauma, which is why I suffer from it so much. I believe it can also be related to several health conditions (e.g. sleep apnoea). The brain really can do terrifying things!

23:53 I think this one is a camera glitch like you said. In a low light situation, the camera may have registered what’s in front of it (her face) later than what’s on the background. So maybe, that made her face “look” transparent as she spins around because the camera is trying to register both things at the same time? Also, you could only see her face changed texture as she’s under the street light. Could also be a filter though. Disclaimer: This is just an assumption/curiosity based on my very limited knowledge of how smart phone camera works. (I had one course in uni and that was it 😂)

I lived in an apartment block just outside of Melbourne AU about 20 or so years ago. The apartment above me was vacant and I’d always hear the sound of someone running around. I tried to record it once but it could never be heard on the recordings which was strange because it was LOUD. I also experienced sleep paralysis at this same apartment too. I sleep on my side and it would only ever happen to me when I was asleep facing the wall. I never saw anything but it was terrifying. Sometimes it would last for well over an hour. I’d never experienced it before living there nor after I moved out. That little bedsit apartment I lived in was well and truly haunted.

Ive experienced sleep paralysis a couple of times in my 20s. Its really awful. Never saw anything while i had these episodes, however, to this day i remember an occasion when i awoke in the middle of the night and saw a green shadowy figure wearing a hat at the foot of my bed. I blinked and it was gone. I called him the quaker oats man when i described him to my family. Of course it could have been something my mind projected in some way but i know i saw it.

The cut and n the first one is in the fast movement of the camera around the door and it can be easily seen.The sleep paralysis one is not sleep paralysis. When you have sleep paralysis you can't move that's why it's "paralysis". It's clearly fake crap and Beardo is putting his own experience on to the clip because he wants it to be real.

16:45 this is not sleep paralysis, that's a bad dream. With sleep paralysis, you regain awareness but can't move. paralyzed = to become partly or wholly incapable of movement

a good editor can hide a cut in a whip pan. it is easy to do when you end the first shot you move the camera fast to the side to get motion blur. then you start the next shot the same way. The US version of the office used them all the time

I’ve had sleep paralysis before. The first time I imagined the bed sheets were pulled off me. The second time I heard someone breaking in the house and running up the stairs to get me. It wasn’t very pleasant both times. Now I know what it is it hasn’t happened again thank God.

I'm a thorough sceptic and I don't easily believe in anything claimed to be supernatural, and I'm also a science enthusiast. But I could never explain my constant sleep paralysis or some of the things happening when I slept in my girlfriends childhood home. I do think science can explain the paranormal but I don't think we're there yet. There are thousands of possible theories, including the parallel dimension theory and hotspots where the veil between dimensions are thin, to the multiverse theory. But I will never blindly deny the existence of the paranormal based on what I have experienced myself. I would call myself an atheist with an open mind. Just like agent Mulder, I want to believe.

As a kid, during sleep paralysis I would hear really scary things just a few feet away. As an adult I started to see scary things too. Such as a shadow person over by the door, but after I wake up a little more, it turns out to be my coat hanging on the door. 😅

Watched this video last week. An yes its a good top 5 for sure. The bus, messed me up...lmao The video with the fire by the cars i kinda believe. Yes the figure was a bit jumpy but the flames didn't stop moving if it were digitally put in. Tho idk how that would be done either way. Bit late to this, but wanted to offer an explanation for the sleep paralysis experiences as it was explained to me by a somnologist (I experience it very regularly). The common shared experience of many people seeing "The Hat Man" is in actually linked to Benadryl adverts in the 1990's, which featured a silhouetted man in a Fedora style hat, which made many people feel quite uneasy. In the expansion of the various internet communities, it has grown to achieve urban legend status, and even those who were born well after the 90's, see the same thing as those us born in the early 1980s. The same is said of the woman that is commonly seen. Though she has not appeared in any commercials, the descriptions of 'Hags' shrouded in rags and mottled hair covering their desiccated face appear throughout folklore and fairy tales alike. The Lady in White/La Larona/etc are all variations (in appearance) of the same women, just stories that change. Even Sadako (The Ring) and Kayako Seiko (The Grudge) fit this trope. Doesn't make my visits from 'Corpse Bride' any less scary, though it happens less now that I sleep during the day and work solely at night.

In the first video with the bus...after he sees her through the window and points the camera towards her...then he turns the camera towards the bus as if he's scared...before it shows that she's not on the bus...there he is the cut video...before it shows that there is no one on the bus at minute 2.00 of the video...watch in slow motion and you will see it.

The sleep paralysis video when the camera in the hall loses focus, I don’t see the big face right in front of the camera. I see someone hanging in roughly the middle of the screen. What I think is the head is the eye of the “face”, but looking down, so the nose is slightly highlighted. Then the torso, and the persons left arm is kindly of held awkwardly out to the side (towards the right of the screen). Does anyone else see this? How did the original owner pass; I know they chose their own route, but does anyone know how? Just wondered if it was hanging because what I can see looks suspiciously like that.

I have seen three people during sleep paralysis a freakishly tall man in a back and yellow flannel with no face, a short slightly overweight woman with no face and just a black shadow person not like smoke very sharp outline but just pitch black. when I saw the tall guy with the flannel I punched a hole in the wall. I as suffer from night terrors where I will wake up screaming bloody murder.

I have had sleep paralysis twice well what I call sleep paralysis I woke and was unable to open my eyes or move a muscle I was really afraid horrified in fact I could hear people talking in the kitchen, I heard a voice say to me go back to sleep when you wake you will be fine, next time I had it was about a decade later and that time I said to myself go back to sleep you will be fine when you wake and of course I was the last time was about 20 years ago, hope it never happens again I am now 60 so here is hoping

Clune Park is a place I visited with an ex boyfriend who was from Glasgow and this place really is one of the freakiest I have ever seen. I’m no investigator but am a believer of all things paranormal especially with the job I had as a terminal care nurse. Any way back to Clune Park if I could recommend parts to go in then go to the church or the school. The whole area is worth investigating though as there is something strange going on
