I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS!!!!!!! obviously this song is about justin bieber (set fire to my purpose; justin's album for selena is called purpose). it's about her struggle to finally get over him after years of toxicity. their relationship lasted for years and he really, really, REALLY hurt her in all the ways possible, but she kept coming back to him. she even talks about when they broke up and he got with her current WIFE just two months after the break up and then got engaged one month later. i interpret the video as her reactions and feelings during the relationship: she felt happy, sad, tired, anxious, angry... she's constantly looking back cause she's looking at the past.
