Great point. I have been frustrated by the Sheets, Docs, and Slides apps. Sticking to web version that has full functionality. Can’t believe I didn’t do this sooner. Love your channel. From one maths teacher to another.

Thank you. Lol, the edtech teachers struggle with iPads in class. This is a simple way to get around the frustrating app versions. 👍

Can you make a video about your keyboard and or your iPad case?

what do you use a screen protector? do you reccomend paper-feel protectors for Ipad?
@BeardSquaredEdtech2 жыл бұрын
I use a tempered glass screen protector by spigen. I use my iPad to take ✍️ hand written notes everyday and I also edit all my pictures and videos on the iPad. Maybe 🤔 a matt paper like screen protector might be a good idea to reduce glare and create a better writing experience, but I prefer this one.

Hi! I just got a new iPad. Silly question that I believe might be answered already from what I saw on your iPad. For google apps, they need to be downloaded individually? Thanks!

I prefer to use the iPad Safari browser for docs, sheets, and slides. In fact the whole Google suite it better on the Web. The iPad apps are limited imo. Just follow what I say in the video. Watch it twice if you need to 👍

I used Docs and Slides from Safari, but unfortunately, when I want to use accents in words (I write in Spanish), the keyboard freezes, and I see that many people have experienced the same problem.

Yes this is true. Google deliberately have not optimised this on Apples mobile devices like iPhone and iPad. Try using another browser like Chrome.

u don’t use stage manager for multitasking?
@BeardSquaredEdtech2 жыл бұрын
Nope. I don’t find it useful, especially since it doesn’t really offer anything new. Plus it doesn’t use the full screen like Split View does.

@@BeardSquaredEdtech That's correct, and it's a disappointment, but on the plus side, it allows you to open 4 windows at once and resize them almost like a normal Mac process. I wish they add the fullscreen feature in the next iPadOS. I enjoy your videos btw.

Wait a minute.What is that first tip. Google Widget? Where and how do you get that? That is not a widget on your iPad is it or is that an app with widgets?

And what about Meet? Safari or the app?
@BeardSquaredEdtech Жыл бұрын
Meet depends. If you're a student or teacher that doesn't need to share your screen, then use the Web version via safari. Since you'll have access to Q&A, polls, breakout rooms etc. But if you need to present your screen then you have to use the app on the iPad.
