I like these not-too-hurried videos. a lot of the "younger ones" rush through their tutorials, talking a thousand words per minute, and i find myself replaying the video to rehear what was said. Thank you for taking your time through these. 😊

Very good info. It should be noted, however, that not all iPads have Stage Manager. I have an iPad 9th Gen that does not. In fact, several of the tips will not work on my iPad. I didn’t realize there were so many different capabilities between iPad models and versions.

Well done. The only thing I’d suggest is, with each hint, provide a situation where the function may be useful. For me, it’s just not the iPad functionality that’s obscure, being aware of situations where the function may be used is also obscure. Thanks!

For taking a screenshot, I think it is much easier to press the power button at the top of the iPad (when it’s in vertical position) and the top volume button at the same time. This immediately creates a screenshot, which you can then slide off to the left with your finger and it ends up in your recent photos.

Thank you so much for such a wonderful video. We often just don’t take the time to find out the new Shortcuts over the years. I have an Apple Pencil that I use with my iPad. A some of the gestures that you have shown here do not seem to be working. An example could be swipe up from corners or doing a screenshot with the extra options at the top. Perhaps you be able to do another one of these videos using, an Apple Pencil? FYI - the Apple Pencil really reduces the fatigue in my hand, so I would have a hard time without it.

Thank you so much for all your information. I’m 76 and had to get a new IPad. I went from 5th gen to 10th gen and was told it’s just like your smartphone. Well, I don’t have a smartphone. I learned so much in this short video. One question. I have a couple albums in my photo app. I moved some pictures to a new album but they remain in my original album. If I try to delete them from the original album, they get removed from my new album. Any way to delete from original album and have them stay in my new album. Thank you for any help. Please continue your short videos. They are very helpful!

I’m still working on creating the widget app and how to add only my selected albums to it. Understanding parts of the instructions but since my Home Screen and photos are set up differently from yours I’m a little behind in the learning curve…..at 81 I didn’t have anyone to teach me basic computer skills such as cut and paste ( which is a no brainer to most) so I went to an iPad. All of my “skills” are trial and error and a fear of losing any stored data keeps me from trying new ideas. Anyway, I am throughly enjoying your video and will keep on plugging along. Lol!
