I have had my Bearly Art Glue, but was trying to use all; my Art Glitter Glue up. After hearing you say several times that you liked it better than Art Glitter Glue I broke out Bearly. It was love with 1st use, like you I like the different tips and all the reasons that you tested. I like the fact that it will be shipped to me in the middle of a Minnesota winter if I need it. Bearly gets 2 thumbs up from me too. I got my off Amazon.

I know this is a very late comment but wanted to let future viewers know the information in this video still applies today 3 years later. My crafting experience started during CoVid it 2020 and I floundered around with various glues till March 2021 when I received and started using Barely Arts Glue. While Bearly Arts Glue has sadly gotten more expensive over the years, it is an excellent glue with no issues being shipped when it is cold like Art Glitter Glue is purported to have. It dries fast yet you have some wiggle room while placing your pieces. It dries clear and cleans up easily. It still comes with all the tips, which are a life saver for me since I have arthritis, although I do usually use the glue in smaller bottles that come with a needle tip. I did try some Art Glitter Glue about a year later without purchasing the extra tips. While it is a good glue, I liked my Bearly Arts Glue better so went back to it. Give it a try.

Realize it's been awhile since you created this vid, but I just got my glue & I have a question. When applying it always starts with a small blob (bubble) at the beginning of each line of glue. I noticed this was happening when you did the lines test. Is there a work around ? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. BTW, hands down yours was the best review, answered a lot of questions. Thanks 😊
@JunkJournalideas3 жыл бұрын
Hello Carolyn, it does do that yes, at first it bothered me, but now it doesn't, its because we are squeezing to get the glue out and started. if i'm working on something really fine i will use my poky tool to scrape a bit off and if i'm working on something that doesn't matter i just flatten it down when i glue the things together. And thanks for the compliment it's a great glue to review, i love it :-) hugs Donna

Excellent review Donna!!! thanks so much for sharing. I love that it can ship in cold weather. I've been using AGG and love that, but want to give this a try. I've broken and bent some of the pins with AGG and have been able to easily replace those with stainless steel pins for sewing that I already had, I wonder about the pin for BAG, it seems a lot longer. I wonder if I can find stainless steel straight pins that would work in this glue, just to have a few extras without having to buy the tip kit they sell. I bookmarked the links you provided and will definitely be ordering some!! thanks again :-)

I just discovered this yesterday when I was searching for a better craft glue that doesn't warp paper. I bought it this morning on their website. I normally only use scrapbook adhesives with E-Z runner grand, but there are some things I need to glue, and the glue I've been using is too wet because the paper will warp and curl. That's not a good look when you receive a card in the mail that is warping or curling. I try not to use the glue, but with this new glue coming, I won't worry about that.
@JunkJournalideas4 жыл бұрын
Hi Michel, this glue should serve you well, the secret is not to over use it or under use it, there's a sweet spot. too wet and you will get curling. also if you glue on one side only sometimes cardstock gets that distinct curve. weigh it down if it does or if your gluing another piece on the other side it seems to balance it back out. It's a great glue I think you'll love it TᕼᗩᑎKᔕ ᗩ ᒪOT for tuning in cheers Donna

Gday Martha I just done a price check and its cheaper than AGG, plus AGG charge extra for the tips so in the end you pay more. i havent seen it anywhere higher? I just changed over from AGG to Bearly Art and while theres nothing wrong with AGG it is good glue, the Bearly Art is my keeper it just performed great. I have tested it on fabric on small items but not on like a full cover, I will test it on a large area but im not convinced it will be my go to glue for that application, i use Helmar Fabric Glue for that, the USA uses Fabritac I heard its stinks lol Keep the Bearly Art glue in mind for next time :-) cheers Donna

@marthamanigross9 ай бұрын
@@chrisarlington1792 do you have a stainless steel pin in the tip? Always put the pin in when using. Even if you’re going to use it again in a minute or two. The other thing I found that helps is get some of the rubber tips used on knitting needles to keep the work from sliding off. Put that over the tip with the pin in the tip. That keeps any excess air out. Lastly, you might have a glob of glue in the cap. Remove the cap, use a toothpick to clean the globs out of the cap and tip. Hope this helps and happy crafting!

Does it dry clear matte or shiny? How does it come off your fingers? Does it smell? How long does it last? It looks quite good, based on your test. I've tried many glues, most I dont like. I like Zip glue alot but it dries up in the bottle so fast. I wish art glitter glue didnt adhere so quick...sometimes i want to be able to move it a bit. Oh well. You answered most of my questions. Thanks for the test!! Ahh, too bad, I dont buy from amazon.

Gday Cass i show how clear it dries in the video, it dries very clear, it rubs off fingers easily, i'm a clean applicator i don't get glue on me much but when i do i rub my fingers over the bin and its falls off easily. I'm a migraine sufferer and i didnt smell athing it's non toxic which is appealing to me (forgot to mention) it lasts until the bottle is empty, no probs with shelf life. AGG is very quick to hold but its an industrial glue and designed that way. I found that this Bearly Art Glue gave me a moment longer. You don't have to buy off amazon.
