Bates last in, Reddy last off. Would switch these two if his ST duties can be covered by Baskerville/Amen. Also switching Hicks off the 53 in preference for Colbert's better coverage ability. Henry Waechter is a name I'll never forget. Scored the safety in the '85 SB. For those younger, do you remember Rosevelt Colvin? Had 10.5 sacks in '01&'02 as a LLB but replaced by Briggs in '03. Always thought we should have kept him, same as Thomas Jones.

The Wheeler debate solved itself with him popping his acl vs the Chiefs. Reddy is the one guy I pound the table to keep. Astonished they're not just dumping Kiran on IR for the year with how much time he's been missing. Also Dom Rob is a wasted roster slot, imo. I'd rather swing on another team's cut.

Jerome Carvin. Without knowing the status on Ryan Bates, the OL projections everyone is making have no backup Center plan. It's possible they feel like Carvin (or I guess Kramer) would get to the practice squad, but that'd be a tough pill to swallow if Bates is out for a few games early on and Carvin gets claimed.

I remember being hopeful that Moses Moreno was a hidden gem at QB (LOL) then he got one start and was just awful. Barry Minter was a sweet MLB until he got injured and Urlacher replaced him. Hardy should be the last guy on the team, Sewell the last guy cut.

The fact is, poles put a bandaid on a lot of depth deficiencies, and wasted the #1 pick on a at best 4th round QB. He should have traded back gor a haul and started Bagent. By mid season Robert is going to be saying he isn't going to talk about all the things Williams can't do because it'll sound like he's picking on him just like he did Fields sorry ass last year. Poles could have traded back twice, rebuilt the Oline, and improved the defense with quality young players on rookie contracts. It'll be hard for Poles to bench Williams when he loses 3 out of 4 games, and we're going to have the same shit narratives we had last year. Flus will be the scapegoat, and the same Fields fan boys will be blaming the Oline, defense, coaches and Poles.
