Hire Ron Rivera as interim HC. Tell Flus he can stay as DC or fire him or push him up to the player evaluation assistant GM.. Ron might want to prove his worth to other teams. And he gets good games out of Caleb. Waldron better start having a quota for run plays. Either way.

In my opinion Poles's stock has plummeted amongst the fans and maybe with Kevin Warren and ownership. He was riding high into the draft/free agency and fell on his face with this Oline and coaching staff.

Herbert averaged 4.8 yards per carry the past three years and lead all NFL running backs in ypc in '22. So Travis Homer is a better option if Swift goes down? The fact that this coaching staff benched him for VJJ and Travis Homer, who was getting most of the carries at one point, shows what an inept mess this whole thing. What a waste of talent - across the board.

This is why Kevin Warren has to step in and restore order and fire both Flus and Poles at the end of the season or before. The GM committed the GRAND BETRAYAL and here it goes. Poles said that he wanted to "DO RIGHT BY JUSTIN" and he did so by trading him to a storied franchise with a great culture where he would have a chance to become the starting quarterback. Meanwhile, Poles failed to fire Eberflus and pair Caleb with a new coach, offensive coordinator, new OL coach and decent offensive lineman. In other words, Poles did more for the OUTGOING quarterback than the INCOMING quarterback. LET THAT MARINATE...

As much as I like some of the moves Poles made, he made way too many arrogant moves. Not getting new coaching staff with a young QB, not addressing OLine more in the draft/FA are all major mistakes
