This is 100% a Flus issue. How much experience does Waldron have as an OC? Not much. What bar did he set in Seattle? Some but not a world beater. Flus needs to be involved with every offensive play construct to offer a defensive perspective. “ Waldron, why do you have Carter blocking a Linebacker?” Not smart. If he’s not involved then he’s negligent if he is involved and doesn’t know to say something he’s incompetent and both have been true. He needs to be involved with every play design. My concern is that Flus is just incompetent as a head coach which permeates throughout the coaching staff

Eberflus seems like the kind of person who wants to control everything and then blame others when things don't pan out. If they lose this weekend he will have the 2nd worst HC record for the Bears behind Abe Gibron (early 1970s) 11-30-1, even worse than John Fox. It's not Fields, it's not Williams, it was partly Getsy but it's basically Eberflus. All you have to see is that god awful 4th and 1 play. It was a stupid play called at the wrong time and he threw his offense under the bus saying they didn't execute. Even if it was an execution problem a good coach would have taken the blame and then yelled in private. He misdirects.

Mike Tomlin has a very clear vision and philosophy for his team. Control field position, win the turnover battle, ball control offense. These are not metaphors. Because of this philosophy they began the season with a ball control style offense, and they win with the defense. This allows for the offense to build chemistry as the season moves forward. As the season progresses, they slowly open the faucet on the offense. That is why JF had 118 yards in week 1 and 247 in week 3. It's a sound clear plan that Tomlin preaches and falls back on all the time. What is Eberflus's philosophy? Unclear. The team has no direction, and this is why the offense looks like a hot mess. The Bears have a good enough defense to execute the same strategy but they want to play like Caleb is instant Mahomes. And for that reason Eberflus has got to go.

no offensive line is this bad. This is a coaching issue. They can’t handle simple stunts and twist and games upfront. That’s coaching. They’re in shotgun 50 times a game that’s coaching. They also don’t chip on their outside pass rush that’s Coach you can coach an offensive line up to mediocrity and run a better offense than this. This goes on Waldron, he’s treating his old line as if they’re the best line in the history of football and leaving them all one on one as he tries to pass the ball 50 times a game. They’re very few offensive lines in the history of the NFL that can execute that type of game plan, especially on the road. This is all coaching.

Unfortunately a DA Coach that doesn't adjust to his players capabilities...he is forcing them to run "his" calls, whether they are capable or not

Lot of entitled players to caleb

How about actually give them live game reps throughout the preseason instead of shutting it down like they been together for a few years. Not a good look. And the line is a joke. They definitely could have used the reps.

Begging Waldron to not have a 180 pound back trying to block edge rushers please.

Dysfunctional organization. Jerry Vainisi was possibly the best GM in the NFL. He built a CFL championship team, then the Vikings (purple people eaters) then the 85 Bears. They fired him, and he never worked in the NFL again. How did that happen? Something is seriously wrong.

It's not a coincidence that they allowed Nate Davis to get away with so much Bs and the offensive line is playing this way

Not sure what everyone expected… keeping a lame duck hc, bringing in a castaway oc and marrying him to a questionable ol coach who somehow got promoted to run game coordinator. Morgan is the center of the issues imo. That ultimately falls on Flus, which ultimately falls on Poles. Flus is a coordinator and Poles is a scout. It is what it is. If there isnt drastic change this weekend, then Poles, Flus, Morgan and Waldren have to be gone. Cunningham deserves an opportunity to show what he can do as the man in charge before this coming offseason where there are going to be some high profile HC candidates available. We cannot do to williams what we have done fo our previous young quarterbacks. They need to send a message and let it be known that this sh!t is unacceptable. Enough of the f$&kon politics

I still think that Swift is the right guy. We need to call the right plays so that he can shine. I hate run plays from shotgun, call better plays.

Is it just me or has Montez Sweatt looked a lot less dominant since he got paid?

Yeah like when they say they had a good walk through
