Nic, I agree that these moves on offensive line would definitely make us a lot better. However, it’s not gonna help if the coaching staff is not calling the right plays. Waldron needs to find a way to hide these discrepancies in the offensive line. I think the biggest issue here is coaching.

I went livid all spring wondering what he had up his sleeve. I could NOT believe we were betting on Davis. its nto just the season at risk. Calebs future, Implementing a new Offense, and all the investments they made in skill players, 2 more WR, new RB, new TE. Its managerial neglect. EPIC fail.

I was excited initially because the names we got were better weapons for our offense for once! But no big o line moves baffles me! You can’t use your new RB with no one blocking for him. Williams can’t showcase his talent without people giving him time. It’s embarrassing!

This all sounds great, easy for us as fans to setup trades, but unfortunately, RP will not make any trades and hope that coaching will fix the issues. the same issues all of us knew were existent from last year and nothing was really done to address. Drafted a LT who was injured, missed camp and now is catching up to speed. It would be great to get something done for this year, but I don't see it happening.

That's the reason why we're are NOT the GM of an NFL team because we tend to over react. Believe me, I don't like the composition of the Bears OL but it's NOT the only problem we have as a team. I.M.O. coaches, schemes, chemistry, etc are Bears problems too. We cannot fix by trading away future assets. It sucks to lose but Rome was NOT built in 1 day. Caleb and the rest of the team need to feel the bitter taste of loosing so they can use it as motivation to win moving forward ala Michael Jordan and the Bulls.

Bear coaching should have known OL was a huge problem well before the season started. Nate Davis has not been effective since acquired. This OL is just like 5 revolving doors. Now we are 3 games into the season and panic button goes off. This is poor effort by GM and coaching

Nic, you're desperate for a quick fix, young man! Offensive Lines need years of teamwork together until they function as a cohesive unit. Bears haven't drafted an O-Lineman high in the draft since Jim Colvert back in '83. I don't expect you to remember that, only to bring it to your attention. It honestly didn't make business sense to keep a guy with that kind of record that blew 3 games last yr(not even gonna touch how Poles refused to interview anybody else post his own hiring) while bringing in a rookie Qb, knowing that he would be on the hot seat of they'd didn't make the playoffs this yr. They're in dire need is an offensive minded HC, and that also eliminates any future successful OC being hired elsewhere. This is the absolute best case scenario. I used to give the ownership the benefit of the doubt since they aren't football ppl, but enough of them as well. They're useless and not needed.
