Ramblings of a lunatic (same with it gets better) gives sort of a peaceful desperation? Just in the way its a soft, melodic song but with sad lyrics that sums up how I feel going through a hard time. Pretentious, I know, but bears in trees is really special to me. Its also nice to hear Ian referred to as "they."

When I first listened to this song I was just like ,,oh nice’’ but didn’t really think about it anymore but a few weeks later I listened to it again and actually payed attention and immediately started crying because the lyrics said everything that I was never able to put into words

It’s such a great song and it was my intro to you guys. It’s so sad yet comforting, and I listen to it whenever I really need to feel better. I’ve probably cried to it like five times :’)

This band, and this song in particular is the reason I started learning guitar. This is the kind of music I want to write. Genuine, poetic music that'll make the listener cry. I was in tears when I heard this song for the first time, and I've cried every time I've listened to is since. It's amazing, and it makes my heart ache. It gives me that tight feeling in my chest. I love it. This band is everything.

This was the first Bears in trees song I ever heard, I related to some parts but couldn't fully understand it until earlier this year when I lost my friend, this song got me through the grief of that experience and continues to help me now, I cannot thank Bears in trees enough for this song and for being there for me.

Thank you so much for pouring your hearts into this, and into everything you do. Grief is so all-encompassing but also so universal. We all have to cope with these fears at some point, and having the courage and generosity to share that experience through art is powerful and shows that we are not alone in feeling lost and hopeless. This video is so beautifully composed, and I love getting everyone's perspective, but especially for Iain, this is something deeply meaningful. Thank you for sharing this with us and for always being so genuine and honest, saying the things that we all need to hear but never do. Your work means so much to so many people.
