I agree 100% with what you said. I've tried to watch videos on a channel called "BoardGameCo", and I just can't do it. That guy, Alex, seems to just love hearing himself talk and will repeat the same thing several times - not to mention he talks WAY TOO FAST. Half the time, his words are incomprehensible for me because of that.

An excellent overview of the game. I have been considering this, just on the strength of how good it looks on the KS page. As a predominantly solo player I didn't feel that it was really for me, although it was drawing me in. Your overview completely won me over and I had backed it before the end! It is so beautiful and you showed this so well. I will convince my wife that she needs to play it when it comes. And if she doesn't, I will just look at it in admiration?! Cheers!

This is a lot like The Fury of Dracula(one of the top games on my families game night list), but with just enough changes to make it super interesting; GJ on the overview.

Yeah, it does have a lot in common with Dracula, but as you say, there are enough differences to make this feel quite different :)

13:41 i believe it is east where you are directing the beast, as your POV is different. i guess the map layout determines where north and so on is, so i guess it would have moved left not right. anyway thx for explanation :)

Does it come with a dry erase board or a pad of mini maps for the beast player to keep track of their location? I could easily, easily see myself losing track of my own location. Also expecting them also remember previous spaces seems a bit much if there's no player aid.

There is a mini map and a screen for the Beast player to keep it behind...but I do think that it was an add on on the Kickstarter. And yes, if you do not have a way to keep track, it's quite easy to lose where you are on the map.

Hi mate and thank you! No the trails does not reset after a full day but you have your old movment card to help you remember, there is also a optional mind map that helps a lot. Hope this helped you :)

Sooo 2 to 4 players. You shown us a 3 player variant, but what if we only have 2? Does it become a 1v1, or is there a rule algorythm / AI to control the beast and we can play cooperative against it?

I have seen videos and reviews about Beast, most of them 12 months old, and most mention that the game is great, but rules and tweaking need to be made to elevate this game. This game looks good, but my main problem is ... how can you (as a beast) use any strategy, if you move at random? You have no power to "where" you move. You can circle around your goal half of turn and hope it will take you there, and still lose because you didnt draw good movement, is that right?

You do have a lot of different movements and ways to reach your target sending worry and you don't need to move every time either but you will need to plan your route 😉

Hey! You're not moving at random, you as a Beast can choose where you move to, which is the movement cards you place, so, you plan your route accordingly 🤪

Hi mate, I did actually not consider the rules that hard at all. Of course it takes a bit more knowledge if you are going to be the Beast as you are on your own but as a hunter the rules are pretty straightforward. :)

Haha, yes, a little better, we are all entitled to have our own opinions :) . To call it trash is a bit harsh, and I don't quite agree. There are different beasts with different contracts (winning conditions), plus the different hunters are different, at least different enough to make it quite repayable. But I guess you have made up your mind, and that is perfectly fine :)
