BEAST BROADHEAD REAL WORLD Testing on Real Hide, Bone, and Organs in extreme SLOW MOTION. we used 2 phantom cameras filming at 10,000 fps show casing the the BEAST BROADHEAD Technology such as the bone avoiding tech, Spring loaded deploying blades, and show casing the world's sharpest mechanical blades with the highest edge retention. this is a much more accurate representation of testing than ballistic gel that is nothing like the real constancy of soft tissue.

I saw it shot out of a kid's bow with 4 pounds of draw weight, by Josh' son, and it still deployed. I will be buying these for my next hunting trip in the US.
@stick__shooter
@stick__shooter 23 күн бұрын
@@nickolaichristiansen3558 I saw that as well, and yes it deployed (and stuck in the target about an inch if even that). I'm not talking about the blades deploying. I'm wanting to see penetration tests like he's done with his 90# bow but with a more standard/average bow/arrow setup.
@nathanschnier2886
@nathanschnier2886 Ай бұрын
The exact thing i wanted to see was showcased on the last shot. Blade avoids bone, broadhead isnt fully expanded again until its traveled nearly the distance of the width of the ribcage again outside. So if you "avoid" a frontside rib, you wont have full deployment until exit. I'll stick to fixed blades.

I was hoping someone else noticed that! I agree 100%.
@mike44442
@mike44442 11 күн бұрын
Surprised this is not a more popular topic as it seems very obvious it took at least 6 inches to redeploy after folding from the bone.. it would almost be out of the cavity if the close side ribs were hit.
@nathanschnier2886
@nathanschnier2886 11 күн бұрын
@mike44442 doesnt fit the narrative they want to push, so they try to distract you with everything else. As for me, this was exactly what my biggest concern was, and glaringly obvious in this test. 900mph spring is a joke, thats 1378 fps. So if its true, and say the arrow is still going 300fps, that blade would have been fully deployed much quicker 😅

@@samsteelman8980 most compound bows are 260-315 so I think he said 300fps is what he was shooting at that’s a true hunting speed
@Muskiehunter92
@Muskiehunter92 Ай бұрын
@@jayseale3609 I agree that 300fps is a pretty common hunting speed... but in my experience, its actually too fast and I find that 280 is the sweet spot. I find that anywhere between 270-290fps is a good range. All my best hunting setups have been in this range and all of my target setups are in this range. There is a reason the best shooters in the world do not rip arrows at 320fps... things get too finicky at those speeds and inconsistencies in equipment and form become more noticeable. Its almost like the bow is half way into a dry fire because they are pushing such little arrow weight. Its also why bows shooting super high speeds are loud and can sound crappy.... If you are not hellbent on speed like some people are these days, then 280fps is hard to beat for all round performance. The bow is happy, arrow is happy, and deers are dead. For what its worth, I am not a "heavy arrow" guy either. I hear that's what the ranch fairy crowd is all about... IMO there is always a middle ground that gives you great all round performance while maintaining great accuracy. The internet is full of garbage in regards to archery i have learned. Even many of the big influencers are lacking on things. It can be a challenge to quantify any verifiable differences between setups in accuracy or forgiveness if you cant at least shoot an indoor 300 round .... but, like I said, don't listen to the internet or my little rant... try everything yourself and verify things. Good luck this coming season.

Josh is very passionate about performance and if you watch his channel you would know this, he spent YEARS on developing this broadhead so we all could benefit from having another option in a mechanical broadhead and i commend him for that, if you want to hate on him then let me ask what you have done for the Archery industry lately??
