hahahaha well I think they would like you to think so. But even at the start you can hear the synthesizer playing as the guitarists enter and they aren't even playing a note yet. Then the "singer" is belting a long note as he walks into frame yet the mic is nowhere near his mouth nor is he attempting to look like he is belting out what he should be. This is with in the first minute. Mars well go to a Taylor Swift concert....

@@BlackVSV6 Sometimes its a good idea to know all the information before you go and start pushing this kind of shit around. I have no idea what is going on with that section. He sings, and he is singing in this concert. He does not need to fake anything, nor does he in just every song. Also you can tell that it is his voice, is it raw, it is not digitized or altered. In the end, you have no idea what is going on in that part and neither do I. Best guess there is a backing track. Nothing wrong with a backing track.

If he is fully trained, which I'm sure he is, he knows how to warm up and cool down (the latter being just as important). Also over touring can destroy the voice (just look into James Labrie). Hopefully they give him time to rest.
@inawinchester9 ай бұрын
I'd say the "killer keys" aren't the problem. He went to a conservatory in Greece for the sole reason to learn how to keep his voice healthy and he sings crystal clear notes throughout the whole set, which he couldn't do if he was straining his voice during the set. That said when I was at their concert in Munich in 2023 he said he still has a cold and apparently had a 39°C fever the day before. I hope he stays safe 🥹

Anton also has vocals on the albums. As far as I know they do it the same way live as on the albums. But I think Yannis knows enough about singing to sustain his voice. For example Blade Runner is exactly the same. Anton sings the chorus of it. Other examples are End of the World, Revengance Machine and Cry for a Hero

Even if they had a live keyboard player, they'd still need to have a lot of keyboards on a backing track since the songs often have many layers of keyboards playing simultaneously, and no keyboardist has enough hands to play all of that at once. This is what they've said when people have asked this in interviews before.

The guitarist and bassist do backing vocals as well, one of the guitarists is sort of a "main backing vocalist" and sings parts of some songs alone, being nearly indistinguishable from the main singer's voice, the camera just doesn't show it most of the time. @@monovolume4586 What? The instrumentals are clearly live. Compare this footage with other concerts. None of them sound the same, the solos are always different and they fuck up sometimes.
