I always felt Vijay's movie loses it's quality due to his own enormous startdom. He is one of the best in movie business. whether the movie is good or bad, the producer will get the return. That's how popular he is. He is a great performer. He has a great screen presence. I think the best screen presence. He is also a good actor. We can see his nicest performance even now. Some parts of Rayappan in Bigil or Vetrimaran in Mersal are sort of the examples. Fans will surely like his Charm and presence in screen. But for regular audience including me, have an expectation of a class performance by him. Beyond stardom, punchy dialogues and action he is a man who can show that charm and mass moments via his eyes itself. I wish to see a Vijay's film where he shines as character rather than a superstar.

Everything if you get more than what you need will be a curse. Vijay and the producers maybe earning so much from his stardom, but Vijay had to compromise his acting skills and stop signing up for challenging roles to satisfy his fans just like rajnikanth. His fans are satisfied with the same formulaic plots in his movies. Vijay still has a long career and I wish he stop making movies just to please his fans. My only hope for this movie is Nelson.

Next vijay movie (tamil telugu) bilingual movie director Vamsi project is a feel good entertaining movie. I think that will be a treat for you as per your preference. But don't forget the star level and wider audience reach worldwide he's in right now so that demands heroic elements even Hollywood stars like Tom cruise, vindiesel etc needs to maintain the image because of the expectations they created.
