Now.. this is the right time for our Leading stars to understand that Tamil audience have changed a lot. They are not expecting typical mass action movies or masala movies anymore. Story and the way how the story is narrated are the most important parts of a film. I watched the recent interview of Thalapathy Vijay, he said something about "packaging". which shows that he still thinks that a movie should have all the elements (fights, comedy, songs, sentiments etc) within it. But, the truth is audience don't need packaging. they just need an interesting story and an engaging screenplay.... simply a Quality movie. if talented leading actors like Thalapathy and AK start to explore different genres then.. Tamil Cinema will reach much more heights for sure. ❤

The story must be like love story between 2 different caste or village then take the weapons and fight like barbarians. But we foreigners like clean entertaining movies . Of course there are faults in every movies so it's not a big problem. Bot to tell the the true in other countries Vijay's are well received. I watch Beasts in fully packed theater on 4th day. All the audience was enjoying and clapping for Vijay. We don't go theater to watch others heros, only for Thalapathy my husband or sons book tickets. But like to check online seats on weekends when others movies released. valmai 12 seats only, now Don 4 seats only. So Vijay is always the MASS HERO anytime like MGR!
