I love my bicycle. It's so quick to grab, get on, and ride to my local stores to get something really quickly. Plus it uses zero gas. But sometimes, I hook my bike to my car. I don't turn the car on or anything. I don't need the power, I need the space so I can put my 4 friends in there and we ride to the mall to put stuff we bought in the trunk. Some people think it's silly to drag around something so large and might as well use the car, but I just compare it to the same people who like to drag around dual rail shoulder rigs, giant lenses, barn door flaps, anamorphic lenses, filters, and all sorts of other stuff that won't fit in their pocket like their phone. I'm no more insane than they are.

Well its just fine! I have often a small and slow e-scooter with offroad wheels in my trunk. Its just too awesome to park anywhere near a bigger park/nature reserve with car and drive from spot to spot with scooter where i am doing my wildlife photography. I am not that bad/mad to drive like many with cars etc. thru spaces which they are not even allowed, but a small e scooter doesnt bother anyone or the animals. Just today... i was at a popular bee eater breeding spot/"middle of the nature", there are just people with property allowed to drive, but there were driving tons of cars thru... many even much too fast and too loud. And some with quads and i even saw group of teenagers racing around everywhere possible with motocross bikes (loud and smoky ones with 2 stroke engine...) But not only the massive amount of cars and annoying teenagers on MX bikes... even photographers with cheaper tele lenses were going around and inside the sandpit/breeding spot... really... im not wondering if more and more reservates are completely blocked for people! The more nature reserves im visiting (without disturbing/harming the population of animals!)... the more i am asking myself... WTF... does people really dont care anymore?

The leans could be great don’t get me wrong but I believe it defeats the hole purpose of shooting on a smartphone if your going to use a leans that big. Phone makes it easy because you carry less gear ,but great video not bashing it at all it just would be great to have a smaller lean with the same power.

I do like to see ways to get the most out of phones cameras but you've added so much size and weight to the phone and need a tripod to stabilise the image why not just shoot on a full frame DSLR ? It would probably be faster to setup.

i had a dslr for a year or so and i just ended up taking photos/videos a lot less because it was too bulky to carry around and it also cost a lot so i was worried about it getting damaged. at least with something like this i would be a small bit easier to carry around and if it gets damaged its not too big of a deal, just buy another cheap lens. another thing i really like about phones is having syncthing sync all my photos across to my network drive as soon as i come home. no fiddling with sd cards or having to plug in anything. i couldnt really justify the price of a dslr these days anyway considering how little i would use it

Not exactly, the lenses on iPhones are good, but they don't have much focal throw. Basically, they can't get depth of field on anything that is more than a foot away. Yes there is portrait mode which approximates what depth of field would look like in a photo, but it isn't the same as having an actual lens that produces real, optical depth of field.
