That's actually really innovative and pocket ready. I think one of the most important things to have is a camera at the ready just in case you see a scene or angle you like to put in your edits.

when i started my youtube channel back in 2013 i began recording with my smartphone at the time. I still do create content with my smartphone but i have upgraded my smartphone since. I originally started with a galaxy note 3, upgraded to the note 4 and now i use the galaxy s7. Until i have the budget to get a really nice camera setup I will have to stick to what i have at the moment. I watch your channel as i do with other educational channel to see what options are available out there for the next piece of equipment i want to pick up to get my content to be more clear with sound, video and lighting.

Great video man . I use my smart phone to capture any film worthy scene I come across as I travel round London and the UK. I have loads of train and bus travel videos plus I shoot everyday scenes and give them crazy commentaries which hopefully make people smile like 'The Clapham Junction Train Racig Festival". To begin with I would shoot scene by scene directly onto the phone and do no editing, an example is my "On the Night Train from Wandsworth Town to Vauxhall". I then found such video rarely achieved more than 30% in audience retention. I therefore started to edit with the aim of achieving at least 60% in audience retention. This I am managing to do with my 'What's My Story' series. This series can give people a real flavour of the amazing variety of scenes we can capture with our phones. I have tried a few of the smart phone editing programs but have not found one that does all I need it to do. I am not putting links into this comment because I don't want it to end up in you spam. You are doing a great job .... keep up the good work, man.

I use my iPhone for KZbin video production, podcasting, and writing. Basically trying to resist ever buying $$$$ cameras. I can't stand seeing guys plunk down so much money for a camera for vlogging. Btw, I like how you got good audio at the convention. I only use my smartphone to make the thumbnails for my videos, Smartphones are a powerful tool to make really good picture on the go or if you are not that good with photoshop . Apps for android like Eraser, Photolayers are a must to make YT thumbnails on the go.
