What I like about this is that if you add the Beastgrip and a mini matte box, it looks impressive to clients on a budget. They don’t even realise you’re filming with your phone. What I don’t understand is that it only has one opening for the lens. So you have to manipulate one of the lenses of your phone to peek through that hole. While the dedicated iPhone 14 cage reveals all the lenses. But that is a smaller cage, less suitable for my application. Can the filter mount be changed so it reveals all the lenses?

Good, thanks for the video, great I find my happiness, I have the same Beastgrip Pro Universal Rig + Pro Series 1.33X Anamorphic Lens as you, but with samsung S 22 ultra, but when I film, I do not have the same cinematic look as yours, is it adjusted or is it done automatically? or I have to cut the top and bottom black bands in order to have this anamorphic effect as your film, did you do this in Adobe Premiere Pro? I mean cinematic effect? Thanks a lot

Phone is basic camera and need to be rigged. There are two setup. The light one is beastcage. The heavywight is Beastgrip pro. A Beastgrip Pro cage mark II should be improved by take care to rig more external accessoires like handles on each sides by screws.

Any word yet on how well this will work with an iPhone 14 Pro Max. I know it's not out yet but there are some mockups available to case manufacturers. I think it will be the same length and width as the iPhone 13 Pro Max but maybe slightly thicker.

Beastgrip Pro and Beastcage are two different units and have different lens mount designs. Beastgrip Pro has M37 lens mount only, Beastcage has M37 lens mount plus additional plates for Moment lenses and for M17 threaded lenses (like Sandmarc)

I do like it but my only issue is lack of Android support... I have the s23 ultra and using the 1.33 anamorphic lens but with the native camera app there is a jello effect with all stablition turned off and get a strange blurry black sides from the lens so you have to zoom in a bit every time you film The only app we have that works perfectly is filmic pro but this is a paid subscription... The free version has many limits. So be careful when buying a rig with the anamorphic lens in mind as it be hard to use in many modern Android phones

We have a sample video of a 1.33x Anamorphic lens filmed with Samsung s23 Ultra and didn't have any issues with it! Use 3rd party app like "mcpro24fps" to be able to turn off stabilization. I would change only one thing in the next version. Better smooth curves design in the handle grip, the waves are a bit older design. And maybe less plastic or better plastics, or maybe some 1/4 threads for additional handles. But it is ok just now.

If you are looking to shoot with different lenses, we suggest to go with the Beastcage since it has multiple lens mount plates and is compatible not only with Beastgrip Lenses, but also with Moment, Sandmarc and others. Beastgrip Pro is universal and most likely will work great with upcoming iPhone 15 Series, so if you looking for a one rig that will work with your current iPhone and future models, then go with Beastgrip Pro

Just so I understand....Your new detachable lens mount will work with all phones, but the lens thread is still 37mm, correct? For a second there, I thought you said the lens mount was compatible with all phone lenses (i.e., Moment, Sandmarc, etc). I think you need top be more clear about that in the video, that nothing has changed with the lens mount only accepting 37mm lenses.

Sorry for confusion. As showed in the video, Moment or Sandmarc lenses can be used only attached to their cases or clips, then phone with lens is mounted to the Beastgrip Pro. M37 lens mount accepts only M37 threaded lenses or filters
