They would always take over in interviews. It was great. You can tell that the endless promotional interviews are just boring after the tenth time. Having to constantly answer all the same boring questions. They were kids.

It's interesting to hear them shy away when Stern encourages them to be sleazy. They were clearly already aware that their shtick was getting old.

I think as a shtick in general it was old and personally the least interesting aspect of the Stern Show. It's why I don't care for much of the satellite era because the show went full on sleaze and porno. Howard tried way too hard to hide his true sexuality and come across as hetero/manly.

@@popeyedoyle6360 Just my own personal opinion so hopefully it doesn't come across as me stating anything important... I just meant that for me personally the sexual parts of the show (women getting topless, judging naked people's bodies, faking orgasms on air, porn stars, etc..) was always my least favourite moments and I don't find them entertaining compared to other bits. When the show moved to satellite that stuff kinda took over for a period of time and listening to porn stars "ride the sybian" was something I did not care for (although I'm sure many others did). As for the last part of my comment I believe (again just personally) that Howard Stern is a homosexual who is in the closet and who spent an entire radio career up to this point trying to deflect from the truth by portraying himself as a heterosexual by airing certain bits and saying things on the show that he believed was how most straight men act. Only he tried so hard that it came across as over the top and way too exaggerated and further exposed what he really is. Sorry I've ranted so much that I'm not sure if I'm even making sense but basically yeah that's my opinion. That's all.
