people might not be able to tell what a giant band the beasties were, from this video. i saw them, twice, in 1994. once, they headlined with the bad brains and the other time they headlined lalapalooza. massive energy, massive good sound, everyone bouncing and bouncing. both were outside shows. onw was at the gorge at george washington and the other was at kitsap county fairgrounds. Drove 4 hours to the gorge show. took a ferry and 3 busses to the kitsap county fair show. i was 20. so good.

Dude yeah, thats Bobo on the congas and also DJ Hurricane,who was there from the beginning (hip hop beginnings that is) before Mix master Mike joined them. This was the first line up i saw them perform with in Lollapalooza. I manage to see them 3 more times, always great live.
