Funny Conan would say "who's talking about Rod Carew" in a song, his fellow SNL alumnus Adam Sandler would end up doing it also just a few months after The Beastie Boys in 94.

There is no real "opportunity". Adam passed away, the band is done. Mike and Adam *could* do something, but it won't be Beastie Boys.

Growing up in the 80s, I had 3, 6, 10, 12, 17, 23 (NJN), 29, 57, and 61 (Telemundo). I was so jealous of the few friends of mine who had cable. I almost couldn't fathom there being forty or fifty channels.

It's great having specialized music today where you have control of what kind of music you listen to. However growing up in the late 70's early 80's you had control of like 35% of the music you listened to, the other 65% was whatever music was on t.v., what other people around you were listening to, or radio stations that weren't super specific on what genre music it played.
