Even here we see why DK is so good. Once the wyrms get down to red health, they stay there. The burst healing of death coil is just too good, and can buy mana pots for cheaper and faster than a new wyrm.

What a great match, I hope grubby had the same fun playing it. I would have thought that beast masters bear instead of eagle would have been better to deal with heroes and archers earlier as quilboar is good against air and dryads but I guess grubby knows best.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone scale both bears and boars at the same time, it's always boar+hawk or bear+hawk. Only time I've seen Grubby scale bears is for maximum amount of bears with NE. The fact that it can't attack air seems to make it unviable in majority of match ups.

The micro to save your base extension and the game was so clean, I would back out and lose the game but you kept pressuring with so few units and stupid little pig summons on the flank while teching the web upgrade and producing fiends in the process lol. Well played.

Actually ... as someone who's been watching Grubs for so many years, this game was really impressive from a micro stand point. When I see him lose games where he doesnt micro as good (and I know he can) it hurts... but I understand you cant be at 100% always + it's important who's the oppo.

Ziggurat costs 50 lumber, necropolis costs 0. Also if rushing t3 and accolytes get killed in process need to replenish them

To potentially produce acolytes while your main techs up, also it serves as a zigguat with a higher gold cost but no lumber cost allowing for tighter budgeting in the build order.

Basically you’re right but grubby also needed more wood to tech up to wyrms faster Necro cost 225gold whereas Ziggurat cost 150 gold and 50 wood

Necropolis gives food. Costs no lumber, unlike a Ziggurat. Maybe even use it to produce Acolytes while your main base is going Tier 2 and then straight to Tier 3. But the main reason, I'm sure, is food for no lumber cost. The lumber budget was just that tight. He couldn't spare 50 for a ziggurat.

The Firelord's first ability disables spellcasting, you can see a little icon above the Naga Witch's head as well as grubby quickly targeting her with the ability as BM descends from the tornado My guess is his attention was elsewhere for the moment, or maybe he thought it wasn't necessary until it was too late

why people usually do only 1 healing statue and 1 mana statue? doesn't 2 healing statues double the rate at which they heal ur army?

I don't think statues stack like that. You can double up a single statue to do both health and mana with micro though

@@Searibox I'm not 100% but I think the statues follow the same mechanics as priest heal. A priest casting heals sort of locks other priests out from simultaneously healing the same unit.

If you get Reforged you can change to the old graphics in the game. If you have an old real copy you should be able to play as normal aswell (no Reforged graphics).
