It's cheaper. Every country has skilled laborers. To import laborers is a customs & immigration nightmare. Housing, transportation and feeding hassle. And pay for the foreigner would cost you 3x more than a local on the grounds of travel, per diem, and hardship

Have you considered promoting computer science and/or general computer learning? It sounds odd for such a remote location but it could open opportunities for remote jobs, managing the village remotely, advocating via a website, people learning useful skills, and networking with local communities. All of which could be done with a few laptops.

⁠@@LakkzScratchthere’s a lot of people that record their generosity and don’t come close to this, because they still don’t want to spend as much money and time as his doing….. plus most other charities don’t care, they want to only donate enough to where they don’t pay taxes, also many have been busted for just being a way to launder money back to their own businesses….. compared to this where he is giving up a lot of profit that could’ve been made. Most millionaires/billionaires don’t really care about helping they just want to be seen like if they do and most of the time that comes to light.
