The paint schemes are actually all based on real birds! Linheraptor is a bee eater, Mononykus is an Emu :) I think that's why they look so naturalistic and awesome!

Zenocyde He’s most likely talking about the accuracy of the figure which is also debatable. Dinosaurs may be ancestors of modern day birds but that doesn’t mean they had a lot of feathers, if any. We might have some evidence but nothing’s concrete and we can only gather so much evidence unless we can actually see a living, breathing dinosaur before our very eyes. And ofc, it’s your opinion and I respect that. Just sharing my own thoughts too which isn’t a crime either! ;)

To add to that, why do palaeontologist and dino enthusiasts just take one piece of evidence and claim that it proves everything about dinosaurs. In a real courtcase, if you presented one piece of evidence that you think solves everything, logically that can't happen because there needs to be more proof than just the one piece of evidence. Case in point, Dino's having feathers. Did all dinos have feathers? If so, how many? When did they start develop them? I'm sure sauropods and cerapods are unlikely because there's not one modern day bird that walks on all fours and has stubby, elephant feet. See, there's a lot of problems when you mix a single evidence with common sense.

I just love the bird like plumage painted onto these figures it's really looks fantastic like your Linheraptor's paint scheme is that of a Bee-eater and it looks fantastic I don't know what type of Bird I'd choose to use if I choose to do my own build a Raptor figure but then again I'd probably muck it up cause when it comes to painting models my hands aren't the best but yeah I love these figures.

I got the Pyroraptor. When I first took it out of the box I was awestruck. It was Soo beautiful. I have had this figure for about a year now and the display stand is cracking at the top and it's really loose.I have to keep it in the box unfortunately because of this... I have no complaints about the figure just the stand. I wish it were stronger / and or they would make a stronger and better stand accessory pack.

I got my BOTM Velociraptor in past few months. Fantastic figure, really shows how cool scientifically accurate dinosaurs can look. Can't wait for David's Ceratopsian series, I want to get a Protoceratops to go with my raptor. BOTM have completely replaced Rebor as my go to for dinosaur models, as the big R seem to be more into making movie dinosaur models of late

PaleoPeachxy no the only 'study' I know of is the blog of Mark Witton, which has been proven to be incorrect. The Car et al paper on d.horneri says that it had crocodile like neurovasculature hence theropods should not have lips

Why would the raptors not have lips? That paper was talking about whether tyrannosaurs had lips, not dromaeosaurs. The paper NEVER suggested that this applies to every single theropod dinosaur, it was mostly referring to the tyrannosaur group. So these raptor figures are still accurate, idk what you’re smoking to think that raptors had no lips

@@Game0saur_ I don't know the paint used, it might be best to reach out to David Silva at Creative Beast via their website. He has always been helpful in the past. It would need to be a paint that flexes with the rubber I'd imagine? Perhaps some sort of rubber base like liquid latex mixed with acrylic
