It doesn't matter where the stick is. The BeastX takes care of that for you

Center pulse, the pulse width that comes from the radio while the stick is unused...which is the "center" or 0% movement. This step in the beastX replaces traditional subtrim to level your swash.

hi..im trying to setup my first trex 500x with mircobeastx plus, no idea what am doing. im stuck..

I’m trying to set up a micro beast plus version 5.1 with a jumper T16 (open tx multi protocol radio). It doesn’t have a helicopter specific mode. You just have to set one up. I’m using a spectrum dsm 2 satellite plugged into the side socket. I’m able to get the satellite to bind. When I go to step 2 it can’t find the receiver protocol. Any idea what I could be doing wrong?

Hmmm (brushing the dust off my memory), try manually setting to dsm2. That may work.

When you do this step, do you put your throttle stick at mid stick position or bottom position ??

Question: 90 degrees for the horn is relative to the servo line or swash/ horizontal line?
