I just had a mostly 1v1 matchup in a 4v4 against Delhi as English. Ribauldequins. Have infantry in front and ranged units behind and just plowed through the entire bunch of them.

It is now literally impossible to NOT be gold in AoE4 at some point (unless of course silver and below). I came to AoE4 a year ago with SC2 and other RTS background. Won all 5 placement matches. Last placement match was against a high platinum. Was ranked Gold 3 at the end of the placement.

​@faikerdogan2802 Their algorithm has no idea how well you beat them. It just knows if you won or lost. The ranking in season 1 was inflated somehow. In season 1, I made it to diamond 1, but since then, I've been gold 3 - Plat 2.

The algorithm doesn't take that into account at all, afaik. Besides, some scores might look comparable even if you win by a large margin. Even military score may look even if you take out the enemy TC with spearmen/archer/ram combo early (on paper - the opponent K/D- ratio is much better, which is a big part of the score) - as you are going to lose a number of troops due to TC arrow fire.

can anyone explain what he does to make sheep run towards TC? it looks like he double clicks them or something and they do a little run closer to TC but ive tried myself and cant figure it out. I dont mean just selecting sheep and right clicking tc i mean after they walk over to to bringing them closer. 0:36

You need to click the sheep right beside the TC instead of clicking the actual TC. Idk why they designed it that way

With sheep selected, hold right click on one side of the TC, drag the cursor to the opposite side of the TC, then release the right click. You don't need to click exactly outside the TC hitbox

@@steelcommander9918thanks this might be whats going on. i know you right click hold and point to the direction you want them to go but this isnt what hes doing. Also clicking beside the TC doesnt work as the hitbox is so big you cant get min distance by doing that.
