Always enjoy seeing a tower rush defense, I'm still a little unclear about the strategy after a certain point though... Get to Feudal fast -> make archers fast -> deny more towers from coming up By that point the tower rusher would give up making anymore but what to do after that happens? Raid with the archers? Tower rush yourself? (as shown here?) How do deal with the existing towers in the base? One ram? Make a bunch of spearmen to torch? Any feedback would be appreciated thanks!

With ABBA make a RAM and clear the towers, with other Civs age up to castle and clear them with a treb. If there are only a few towers you can maybe just ignore them or kill them with normal units. Also try to harass Oppos Eco.

With French, usually get scouts out (and you can then follow up with pro scouts). With abba, usually get a ram. As Delhi, you can get horsemen/spears and heal them with scholars. If the towers aren't postioned anywhere important, just ignore them till castle. As any civ, you can research textiles and torch them with vills. If you're opponent commits to a bunch of towers or you're a civ that likes going castle fast anyways (or Chinese cause free siege workshop), you can go castle and get trebs (or maa with pierce armor works decently well as say HRE with burgrave).

There are some really weak conqueror and diamond players out there after the ranked elo fix. I had beat a few, the ranked is quite messed up after that fix. Elo and rank all over the place.

He made a video about hotkeys and answers your question there. Basically, he does it because he divides the map into 3 zones and hotkeys units according to where they are on the map. So by hotkeying 123 to the scout his options are open and as he moves the scout around he changes the hotkeys accordingly.

Why get IO so early on when its actually loss in resources income when there is no 8 villagers gathering food. IO takes 30 seconds which is 1.5 villagers. I have been wondering this every day why ppl still get IO "too" early. Even with taxes. Taxes don't go anywhere. I personally get IO once I got 8 on food

@@jordang8730 Ofc it pays off but that wasn't what I questioned about. IO takes 30 seconds to train which translates to 1.5 villagers. With 5 villagers on food its 1 villager worth of resources gained. So to get IO in terms of training time player would need 7.5 villagers on single resource for it to be worth. Also drop off is not relevant that early on because the gold isn't stacked to 40 gold. With this opening 5 on food 1 on wood and up to 8th or 9th villager on food + IO just when IO finishes, mill reaches 40g.
