Drongo FAILED and Challenged me AGAIN!

​ After loosing to the new hardest AI yet again, @AussieDrongo created a specific set of rules for me and said that if I follow them, AI will clap me.
Watch me trying to avenge Aussie Drongo and beat the Hardest French Cheater AI without cheesing and any harassment in Dark Age.

I'm a senior AoE2 player, but only recently got more into AoE4 and so I'm not familiar with Beast or Drongo, just stumbled over him, because i needed to research some more advanced game mechanics. So take this as the context of my opinion. What is even the point of this new difficulty, when only like a few of the worlds best players can beat it? Even Beasty here got the lucky wololo (and maybe used kind of cheese in past games, which is fine and legit wins).The point is that even if some pro player can't reliably and decisively beat the AI, whats even the point of including it. I mean this new AI is maybe a suitable challenge for the likes of some of the pro players, so like for 20? people worldwide. And even then can these few people beat it with all possible civ-combinations, with really bad RNG luck, or even 1v2+? One has to keep in mind, that they took away the previous hardest AI for this, which was a way more suitable challenge for like a wide margin of upper-mid tier players. So they took options away from a lot of players to provide options for maybe a few players. Wouldn't it have been a way better method to add a AI-resource-cheat slider, that you config in addition to your base AI-difficulties?

I want to remind everyone that Beastyqt went 7-3 vs Alphastar in SC2, an advanced AI that used machine learning to become excellent at SC2. Alphastar beat the world #1 Serral leading 4-1 (the "Bonjwa", the most dominant player for an era). Beasty clearly can think outside the box, much like Kasparov vs Deep Blue in the 90's when he opened with flank pawn moves. As long as he is #1 in AOE4, he is going to advance the meta and the game. He is one of the GOATs.

New rule: Play as Malians and your villagers are only allowed to gather resourses from cows/sheep,so no stone/wood/gold mining.Additionaly you are allowed to make only 1 market,where you can trade food for gold,in order to buy more cows.Also no trading,because trading with malians is breaking the game and abusing the AI,therefore not allowed.

Not sure if Beasty is intentionally making it harder for Drongo or not but by using stone walls this time Aussie can't use the same stone wall in Feudal trick himself to try and win one game against AI. And as Beasty said, there are tons of ways to beat the AI because it isn't a human and has certain behaviors. It just seems to me Beasty is intentionally using the easiest and most obvious AI cheese strats first so Drongo can't use them in his games hahaha

@James Shelledy No no, I'm not saying he wants Aussie to suffer and gets a laugh out of doing this. I agree with you that beasty ain't cruel. BUT you have to take into account how he treats people he considers friends and who he likes to play with...remember Chimps? How does Marinelord and Beasty interact with one another? Who started calling the boar ML's mom? This seems like an intentional thing I think. Because it is between friends just messing around...and also for the content hahaha We'll see the truth one of these days as I'm not confident Aussie has a plan on beating the AI atm...so more videos for beasty...and more chances to add another cheese Drongo won't be able to use :)

It's not like Drongo couldn't make walls the first 5 times he tried... Or castle rush as HRE for the first two. Beasty just does not want to make it too easy cuz "just copy beasty" strat would be sooo boring. The more Drongo challenges Beasty before beating the AI himself, the harder he is making it for himself. I bet there are still plenty of ways to go and abuse the ai, and its fine. Maybe Malian castle rush can work?

Great video this banter between you guys is a great laugh. now for a rant I'm struggling with this new OP AF hard ai, EVERY bloody game i get attacked within 5mins every time and it's always a missive army. IMO the new hardest ai is way way to brutal if your not a pro player and the ai is absolutely not consistent and its pissing me off. French ai is 1000000% broken, it's impossible to win against them when your getting rushed at 4mins and they rock up to your base with 15 spears and 5 knights yep 4mins!!!!! how do you defend against that CRAP?? ALF FUCKING F4 feels great

I'm thinking about something AI is cheating having double resources. It's maybe possible to create a mod to give the player (that's means Beasty oc) double resources as well, to see how AI really works now, and see how many AI's can he beat at once Is the new AI really way better than old AI or its only cause of the cheat? I'm maybe a Silver III or Gold 1 at best, and I beat the new Hardest Ottoman with English by stone walling and trading. The early game gets tense with endless hordes thrown at you, but they aren't great at breaking defenses, especially if you build out a pocket of walls at every breach point, as they'll pour in troops and you can just pick them off from the walls, or with mangos. Definitely much more difficult than the old Hardest AI, but not that tough as long as you learn their weaknesses. No idea if this will work against French, but the knights can't break stone walls so I'm assuming it's similar.
