I'm a huge Vai fan including the non-traditional stuff.....since Alactrazz. But I'm having a hard time with this. It sounds to me like listening to jazz while on acid if orchestrated by Zappa, if there could be such a thing. I'm curious if there's a view point to this style or do I just need to go find Cid?

Are we even talking about the same band? I'll just say it. THEY SUCK! And I mean they really really SUCK Bad. I've been watching these guys perform for decades as in King Crimson and in other bands with Steve Vai etc. and they were great in their own worlds. But now, THEY REALLY SUCK. They can't even cover a band.
