Are we even talking about the same band? I'll just say it. THEY SUCK! And I mean they really really SUCK Bad. I've been watching these guys perform for decades as in King Crimson and in other bands with Steve Vai etc. and they were great in their own worlds. But now, THEY REALLY SUCK. They can't even cover a band.

It is so great to hear Steve Vai killing it in this band. He's a lot more versatile than I ever gave him credit for. And of course Danny Carey is holding amazing court on the rhythm section with Tony... and what to say about Adrian except you gotta love him. Can't wait to see this live.

I wish I had made it for this. The Egg is one of Upstate NY's greatest music treasures, right next to SPAC. Met Tony with Stickmen in Schenectady.

I'm a huge Vai fan including the non-traditional stuff.....since Alactrazz. But I'm having a hard time with this. It sounds to me like listening to jazz while on acid if orchestrated by Zappa, if there could be such a thing. I'm curious if there's a view point to this style or do I just need to go find Cid?
