It is all about the journey. The hours of practice, putting time into fine tuning/prepping gear, working on equipment, exercising, scouting, spending time with friends and family and loving it, eating good food, and then going out and hunting and maybe getting into game. There are fewer places each year to hunt and it is harder to get the spots you always want. When it occasionally all comes together it makes it so sweet.

depends on what they do , honestly. levels need work, shaving a few to keep water moving, getting water off in spring are not all bad things. i personally don't feel like any of that will help with spring flooding however, which seems to be the big tree issue, personally would like to see funds attacking that exclusively because we naturally flood here in east texas and that is NOT the answer lol. fortunately they are meeting publicly and taking input from outdoorsman like you, together, we can get it right #sameteam

Dear. DR FUCK STOP POSTING VIDEOS WITH ON X. You hunted off big black to a walk in. I found it just by looking at the on X. And then hunted lower. Do better. You’re part of the problem.

Tremendously enjoy all the content y'all put out. Keep up the journey and keep sharing your adventures. Do have a question though. Looking at the locker style backpack. How waterproof is it? Keep checking on the website but it's out of stock until next season it appears
@thefowlhunter4 ай бұрын
thanks so much for the suer kind words and for taking time to watch! the locker is only water resistant. won't keep the water out if submerged or in a super heavy, sustained downfall. The Journey is a bit smaller but completely waterproof however I believe both are currently out of stock.

I hunt the marshes of SC very few birds and hard as heck to hunt. Our state does nothing but takes our money they take all the flyways and put restrictions on them so you can only hunt 2 times a week. Big money talks poor boys get left overs. Anyhow thinking of taking 3 weeks a year and heading to the Mississippi flyway. Only want green understand the game not looking for limits just the experience. Is there timber hunting in Missouri or is mostly Ark down to Mississippi. Don’t worry Ark boys not coming to hurt your feelings know how you don’t like out of staters unless they bring money to the guides. Thanks Dr Duck guys for showing the reality of hunting. To many people watch the shows and think it is easy and all about killing believe me if it was all about killing then I would have quit long time ago. SC sucks unless your a good ol boy with lots of money and are in the GOB network.

you can find timber of some sort all throughout the south, just like anywhere else though, timing is everything. you ever try getting on one of the committees over in your home area? we got to stat turning this thing in the right right direction, regulations are getting our of hand, just my humble opinion
@stephenknight76014 ай бұрын
Appreciate your info my brother only problem we have on Atlantic is we can only kill 2 greenheads and our gray ducks really slimmed out. Wood ducks teal and mottles and ringers. That’s why I want to hunt the Mississippi. You are right us public boys need to join up instead of fight each other. While we are bickering the big money is taking flyways and building impoundments. Can’t wait for the next vid

Love the public land lessons and I think y’all are stand up guys. But I do think videoing public land is only going to crowd it more! I don’t hunt where y’all do and know where y’all spend a lot of time. No hate just my .02. Pros and cons I reckon!
@thefowlhunter4 ай бұрын
appreciate the feedback. hunting and public lands are bought and paid for by outdoorsman. no outdoorsman, no public land, no hunting, honestly, if its up to most, not even guns. out here, we are all on the same team and we should be growing our team if we want this way of life to even be around down the road so I will take those licks in return. hope you are having a great season brother!
@stephenknight76014 ай бұрын
Amen brother doesn’t matter where you hunt if guys want to hunt they will find the birds. I guess guy doesn’t get it. If we all just worked together we can all have a good time. The ducks aren’t anyone’s and the land is bought paid for by hunters. Dont think we won’t find his holes. 😅

To be fair so are fishermen why is it not the same for them and the problem today is not enough veterans of the sport teaching the younger duck hunters pressure is pressure sure but that can be solved through other management practices other than banning videos on public ground which really aint gonna do that much itll be the same for the next 20 years ARK is the “duck capitol” of the world

I don't make my living from hunting. I have owned a HVAC company for almost 30 years. If you watch all of our videos and listen to our podcasts, our number one mission is to bring people together on public land and influence the younger generation. Have a blessed day.
