I got to see The Beat Farmers at The Commodore Ballroom in the summer of 1989. Such a great night. Country Dick came out and had a few beers with us at the bar after the show. Made me an instant fan!

My roommate Garth booked them on many Canadian gigs including the last one in 1995. It was supposed to be a 3 month tour. What a horrible day it was when Country Dick Montana passed away in Whistler. I miss these guys. So many great times, some of which I don't full remember
