I reseted yesterday and was in b class and lucky enough to be close to the first lock up holding the s15 from story mode. And the guy with the bike just opened the lock up for me to get rid of the b class car after i honked at him in a friendly manner. Not all players are on demon time trying to crash into eveyone

Blacklist cars are marked in the map, if someone dedicated in a hypercar is trying to take your list car, your only choice is to try take them down while they have impact protection and you dont. You can try to run away and drive to the truck, but its not very wise to leave the city with a slower blacklist car when you have much faster car chasing you. Taking them down is the best option in a slower car

Depends on the situation. That may just be bringing the inevitable closer to you if you’re in a slower car but I can see your point.

What I do is drive around the middle areas of the map waiting for the next truck to be available that way I have the best chance possible of getting to the truck first and extracting a slow car. But I ONLY do this method when in a slow car & it’s always worked for me

I use the truck as cover. Most people will ram you from behind. Get in front of the truck. It will take the damage instead of you.

Ngl I did that when I first started playing but due to how the truck can start randomly flying around one time it flew on top of me and glitched out so I just stay to the sides now.

4:20 made me laugh so hard because I came to this video after getting griefed by a Lotus Evija player while I was solo after taking a stock dodge challenger from a lockup. Dude didn't even take the car or my money. He wrecked me as I was chasing the truck, and U-turned and left

Here's one for you, I play on a fairly old pc, still above min req for unbound...but it's close. I came out of a race on a bike, and because I have a slower pc, someone was able to set up 2(TWO, MEANING THEY SAT AND WAITED FOR THE SECOND ONE TO COME OFF COOLDOWN), in front and behind me on the bike. I load in, see them, hit the gas, hit the strip in front, back up to thread the needle, then get smacked into the second one. That's 32k down. No tires, trying to get away, another hit. 28k down. Tires come back, his teammate from the other direction, smacked me back towards the spikes, no tires again. Another hit. 21k. Then I got crashed out. It's gonna be a long time before I play this again cause of bs like that

Damn! that was a violation and a half .. yesterday there was two players griefing everybody and trying to do the same thing. Luckily I out paced them .. they were both driving bulky wide bodied Lamborghini Urus’s. Bullying everyone in the lobby and they would chase you for a LONG time before giving up. doesn’t make the game fun at all so I can see your frustration

Another tip is to look for the kinds of vehicles these players are in. Majority of them are purpose built for crashout behavior, and are often bulky vehicles as it is. (I.e: Raptor, G-Class, Colorado, etc.)

Imo, those heavy hitters don't have the necessary mobility as the bike does. Just break them axles for the cross over or outpace them. But when you're in a car, expect using both ESF or Spikes.

My biggest gripe with this game mode isn't even the griefers and the people who deliberately go out of their way to wreck you. IT'S OUR ABILITY TO NOT CONTROL OUR CAR AFTER THE RACE 😤😒 there are certain races that will literally have my AI burning out face first in a wall. So imagine you are some leeway ahead and you finish the race and now everyone else is slowly finishing after you and since you are already finished you are just burning out in a wall. AND since you can't control your car you can't go anywhere. And while that is happening to you, the people behind you turned into AI as they cross the finish line and now they are coming to your exact location. So imagine if you are in a lower tier car and they are all in s+ or something. IT'S OVER FOR YOU LIL HOMIE 🙅‍♂️ even if it was by accident, if one person Rams you someone else is going to do it and now you are screwed because they see your health bar is low. At that point you're just getting bullied 🤷‍♂️ especially if they Jack your lower tier car for no reason. It's like people just can't stand to lose to a rental.

I can absolutely understand if I was in a hot rod or if I was most wanted but none of those play a factor. Like I understand that you are putting yourself at risk by playing lockdown but I literally have no control over my character in that small time frame and it ends up drastically affecting me because of what I said previously.

The amount of players who quit as soon as i destroy them is baffling brother!!! In lockdown i’m a hunter but there’s so many players that just quit whenever they’re wrecked cuz the game doesn’t allow you to collect the cars or the bike after they leave which is similar to the hot pursuit missed checkpoints reset that players use. @@alphatito868Na brother i don’t think so cuz if the game kicks you out then the ride should stay it doesn’t make no sense if the game does that while they advertise hunting & jacking others rides!! when you quit your ride disappears it’s obvious cuz the player you just smashed to pieces (some of them really make you work) become bitter & bad losers while others get wrecked & you can jack there rides then you’ll see the notification that they left the party.

It's kinda crazy as I've not had any problems from griefers. The majority of the time I'm on the S1000RR and can out maneuver them quick if they decide to follow me. I just wish the bike had it's real world top speed in the game.

Turn off cross play and switch to private lobby. I don't think the game puts you in dead lobbies anymore where you're the only person in the session but there's at least gonna be a lot less people. Some of the people who play are insufferable, since you're trying to learn just don't bother trying to deal with them

I use my repair kit for a different reason to lul my pray into a false sense of security I let them think I'm running due to low health and take tham far away from the nearest fuel depo so when I heal I can turn back around and end them. So yeah they can take money since there money will be mine in the end anyways I have all the back list cars and all of the unique cars I wanted anyways I just go into lockdown to help my team well that is as long as they listen that is bit more often than not I'm out there fighting alone with what I'm used to

If i ever play this mode, my main thing would be to use a more stable ride like the m5 and install a repair kit or impact protection on my car and hope for the best, also the gas station bit is pretty helpful.

Others prefer the money and open lockups for the randoms. If its only me and a bunch of randoms (even if I completed the blacklist cars), I sometimes do that amd give them a helping hand and use the chat wheel to communicate.

One extra thing i might add Start reading other players, their actions, their next move... Ask yourself... "What i would do in the opposite situation" Example: I might get some backlash for saying this but... i use the extraction truck a few times to get a instant knockdown for the other player, so i could steal their car and cash, it's scummy, yeah? But it was pretty obvious what i was doing, and a few people actually catch on it. So, start thinking more in the playing field on how to be defensive AND offensive, after all, Lockdown is now considered a contact sport

You are being too literal when there is more context that is given to each one of your points. The first tip is you need to know how to drive and that is the overall point of it. Further into the tip I talk about not crashing into walls and how your driving may need to be a bit better in order to escape. Me saying “if you can’t drive in a straight line” is not literally meaning drive in a straight line, it means being able to drive without crashing every five seconds. The second tip is to bring impact protection. The third tip is about not dragging out chases to the middle of nowhere or places you cannot easily reach a gas station. The highway is used as an example because of the barriers on the sides that you cannot pass through to reach a gas station if you were to get chased. A highway is straight. That is why it is stated not to drive in a straight line on the highway.

The tips do matter even if you know how to drive. Having pursuit tech abilities still matters, having the option to be around gas stations still matters, joining races to escape still matters, having impact protection still matters.

@crownsinz you're assuming people dont already use these things tho, most of the people in lockdown already do this which is why im saying they dont matter you giving information that everyone is lockdown been knowing, saying these tips leads to beating them everytime is a super stretch compared to what really happens, spike strips are ass because if the person chasing has a IQ they won't follow directly behind but will follow off to the right or left since the spike doesn't cover a large majority of the road and can only be dropped directly behind you they also don't hit someone close enought to you because of the second for it to drop on the road, emp is useless if you are being chased because you can only use it on someone in front of you, gas stations have a timer and your health bar is constantly showing once they see you are low health they know where you are gonna make a dash for and a good hunter will easily out play you in those moments and know the timer count of the gas stations, 3 people to a team right one is chasing, one is stealing trucks, and the other joins the race incase of a teleport attempt, griefers like me who don't need anything out of lockdown and be in this gamemode for real crashout hours will run down all 30min of that timer and steal the last truck from you just so you dont get to leave with anything while I'm chasing the guy my boys are grabbing the trucks or setting up ambushes if you are actually playing a true griefing squad you are in lockdown for 30min and you are guaranteed nothing from it

You are assuming people use these already but there is evidence that they do not all over different social media. For you to say these tips are useless when you aren’t aware of every person that plays the game doesn’t make sense. The fact that I have even one comment on this video saying the tips helped completely throws out the fact that everyone already knows this stuff. These tips are for those who struggle to go against others in the lobby. The tips work every time because they work in the same sense as if you complete a race in the game and cross the finish line then you won’t ever dnf. There is something you must do to prevent certain opportunities from presenting themselves and those are what the tips help with. Everyone does not have the same level you have. There are just as many people struggling as there are able to win a game of lockdown hence why there is so much complaining in the Reddit. If everyone knew these tips and were winning there wouldn’t be any complaints about griefers and solo lobbies.

@@crownsinz @crownsinz while I understand that, playing in these lobbies i experience people who do these things and still fail that's why I said in my original going up against someone who knows what they doing these tips don't mean much because alot of the time they might not work, as in pursuit tech Emp is an attack, emf can be used just as well as an attack as it can be to defend, ex. the emf is what makes the raptor a one shot build, and yes I understand people are struggling my point is non of these tips I feel really tell people how to succeed as you are just telling them use the stuff in the tech in the lockdown thats obviously around the map, use the gas stations around the map that we've been using and know repair cars since the games release, everyone who makes tips videos are telling them to use, and that last point is true if everyone knew these tips and were "winning" they wouldn't be complaining because someone is bound to get lucky and win with this but there is just as many failures out there on reddit and KZbin who do these tricks and go nowhere, so my comment while assholish as it sounds still stands true, someone who knows the game and knows how to drive ain't gonna be fooled by anything in here and even using all these tips while you may think are helpful you will still be at the mercy of an experienced griefer
