Scott is such a trip watching him is nuts, he wears those glasses and subconciously you feel like hes a blind man (stevie) and cant see his eyes on the piano the whole time.. I picked up guitar for the last 2 months and its been tough trying to play without looking is next to impossible this early on but I hope to achieve that. Piano players have it so easy notes all laid out, color coded, etc L0L That being said, it still doesn't take anything away from his expression that he inputs through the instrument, you can fake that nor can you get there overnight. Truly shows you how this music is done and you cant just hop in and hop out thinking you will ever be a hit maker also under the microscope there are many differences between cooking up a type beat and the real thing, in the same way as mp3/wav quality. Its interesting to note that the 10-20% difference is a lifelong journey and commitment, and we all know that when you get rusty from not doing it you will lose that This can also be attributed to the saleability of VSTs etc due to the 80% of the way you can get there by just having similar sounds etc, but theres always more, always.. Those who have earned it, and can reproduce the greats to 95-100% accuracy. You can clearly see why they are where they are at that point.

it sounds strange a scott beat , or his style dont get me wrong he is a good player but what you are playing is normal bollywood style it got nothing to do with a white american it is india araab style sound of music it comes from there hehehe scott got that from them , it is important that the kids really know where that shit is coming from

you are right! i have seen in a interview that he is inspired by arabic music, and you can hear it in Candy Shop,Lean Back and PIMP just to name son. and i can understand why its sounds amazing
