When I first started making beats (Playing with FL STUDIO) i would Just Press Random S**t in Piano Roll to make my Melody and just Make a Simple Drum Pattern! I thought I was doing something wrong so I started Sampling not knowing I was doing it right... I was making my own Melodies & Drums.. now I add chopping to the to The drums and Sample my own sounds with house hold items! (Pen on table, Shaking bottle of Juice & Even Mouth Clicks and Beats).. Amazing the stuff you can get when you Play! I realized some people don't want to do that because what they get doesn't sound like What's out there (as if this is a bad thing). Like my producer friend that inspired me Loves his Oldies Sampled Sounds but the Beats He makes When he Comes Up with his Own Melodies and Sounds to Me trumps that of his sampled Work but he seems to not like it may be because it's too Experimental... I say embrace the otherworldy lmaoo

+RelentlessSniper I'm using logic. I say get something similar to an Akai mpk to make beats on because it has the pads and keys and you can use it with different beat making programs. As far as a mixer, I would get one with usb because you can hook your monitors, mic and equipment into it to and use with any recording program.

buy acid music or any other cheap fruity loops software
@studiomomochannel8 жыл бұрын
The only expensive thing that is truly necessary is the interface that connects the mic and the computer. I'm assuming you have a computer so that's a good start. A cheap mic is about $30 to $50 and will be okay to start out with (you can buy a new one once your beats start returning a profit). A mic cable is about $5. Interface costs $60 or more. The MPC that he's playing the beat on is not needed since you can just arrange your beat in a program and loop it. There are lot's of decent free music making programs like garageband and audacity that are excellent for people who are starting out and lot's of free tutorials on youtube so you can learn how to use them properly. I'd say if you buy the cheapest possible gear you might be able to start making beats for under $120 and this is assuming you buy all your gear new rather than used. I'd say if you have a job you should be able to put aside this kind of cash over the course of a few weeks. Just prioritize what you're spending your earnings on. If you don't have a job then it'll be a bit harder. Perhaps you and some friends could each pitch in $40 and buy all the equipment and then learn how to use it as a team, help each other make beats, that sort of thing. If you do this then it would be best to get a decent range of people, for example one of you might sing/rap one of you might arrange the beat/melody, one of you might play and instrument or beatbox. If you're truly passionate about this then maybe you can sell some stuff that you own to build up the cash. Like some of the other people said, there are tons of free downloadable samples online and free programs you can use to arrange the samples. If you can prove yourself this way you can get people to invest in your passion. Just make and sell CD's of your arranged beats or sell your tunes on free sites like bandcamp. Post your beats on twitter and other social media and explain to all your followers that you're trying to save up for equipment.

Thanks for the video content! Sorry for butting in, I would love your thoughts. Have you thought about - Riddleagan Astonishing Melody Remedy (do a google search)? It is a great one of a kind product for learning how to make amazing beats minus the hard work. Ive heard some pretty good things about it and my m8 got amazing results with it.
