If you pay attention, Asgore's theme has hints of Toriel's theme, but Toriel's theme doesnt have a hint of Asgore's theme. This is because Toriel is a special and important person in Asgore's life, and Toriel doesnt want anything to do with Asgore ever since they divorced. Damn. Thats deep, Toby.

To be honest, the intro to the song (beregentrucküng) [sorry for mispelling] is underrated. It brings tension to the song, leading up to a better climax. Asgore says his goodbyes and destroys the mercy button, making the scene look bad to the bone, but also sorrowful. Asgore facing head down, with a heartless frown on his face, hands trembling in front of you. Wielding a red trident as blazing fire surrounds the menu. Know that is a boss fight.
