I’ll whip up a video showing how to do this, tonight. But for you, with exclusively bmbf and not quest patcher. You should be be able to uninstall beat saber on the App Library and then just reinstall it. It should then be live and ready to update when ost7 is out.

@@BearskiVR Okay so I'm not able to play consistently actually. the app randomly crashes and closes a lot--is there any fix for that? Or does that just come with the territory? Basically it'll just stop, and after a few times I get a message from Oculus beat saber keeps stopping.

@@blacksocrates1530 the question is, how many mods did you install? I’m pretty stable with qosmetics whackers, trick saber, noodles, mapping. I tend to avoid chroma. Find it causes crashes as much as qosmetics for something reason.

Hey man i get to about 8:32 in the timecode and when i go do start uninstall. it says something about restoring from a backup and then pops up QUV can currently nor manage mods for Quest 3 and not anything like do you want to uninstall this app. But i think it succesffully downgraded to 1.28 dont know what to do from there. it shows the versions 1.28 and a mode this version

QAVS is just to download and downgrade to v1.28, you use quest patched to finishing modding.

@@BearskiVR Yes, i actually got it modded, between Mod Assistant and and questpatcher but it only took one day and not it dont work at all right now. I load it and sometimes it just goes to a black screen forever and dont load or it will load, and crash a few times between asking to restore and i cancel. And then when i finally do get it to play i try a level and its weird sometimes Im looking out the side towards where i would be standing and playing and when i try to use the sabers they are almost as big as the whole screen and i cant even see around them to play. I might have just put too many mods or just the wrong mods. I now cant unmod or take off some mods because i cant evne play it now. It seems to happen almost right after i modded it. I will go unisntall and re try all of it again, 1 mod at a time this time.

The game should download followed by asking if you want to reinstall beat saber. You could try reinstalling QAVS and see how what it says when you open it.

Reinstall and try again. Chances are it’s the wrong beat saber version or the wrong version of mods that were installed or Scotland 2 was used instead of questloader

Nope, meta’s implementation of google’s android update has put an end to that possibility. I’ve tried shizuku as well, it can’t be done. Well, you technically could restore a modded back up. But that may constitute as pirating if you weren’t the original creator.

Reinstall back to live twice. Then go through the guide. Make sure you use the latest version of questpatcher(use questloader and not scotland2), v1.28 mods. Start with just the core mods then add others one at a time.

Usually indicates the wrong core mods were installed. The wrong questloader was used. Or the wrong version of beat saber was modded. Usually.

Best thing to do would be to start from the beginning. Restore beat saber back to live. And if you try to mod again, follow each step exactly. Chances are you didn’t change the legacy version to v1.29, didn’t downgrade to v1.28, didn’t use questloader instead of questpatcher, or didn’t use v1.28 mods. The method will work, but it’s a house of cards set up. Need to do everything correctly from the get go.

Bruh, you shouldn’t need a credit card. Try going to the meta dev website on a pc and try there.

Chances are you didn’t successfully downgrade from 1.29 to 1.28. What version did questpatcher say you were on? What mods did you install?

@@BearskiVR if the ones that the logo is written are included, I have mod list, beat together, multiplayer core, better song search, qosmetic whackers, qosmetic core, chroma, custom json data, mapping extenstions, And then noodle extensions

@@UglyLoler8351 could try disabling qosmetic whackers to see if it stabilizes. I’ll get a video out that changes some configuration files that helps prevent whackers from crashing the game.

I could try with shizuku but no idea if it’ll work. Should be able to reinstall beat saber on v1.29 and do this guide with buddy’s laptop to get modded again. Or you could try with an android.

QAVS is incapable of downgrading to 1.29. Qavs is needed to downgrade to 1.28 the. You use quest patcher to install the core mods+extra mods.
