Everyone wants to know about the new sabers, but im thinking about custom song maker or custom songs for beat saber, maybe even mod support. (This is available on pc, but I am talking about standalone headsets.) Edit: my perception of this is entirely wrong, back the to the sabers

@@ScriptVR you can play standalone with mods. the only thing you dont have is an editor, but you can technically use browser-based ones like beatmapper. i'm just not sure if you can save the map you make to your headset or not.

That's not how an OST works. OST means Original Sound Track, and Beat Saber's OST has songs made by artists for Beat Saber. In order to get a song of yours into the game, you would need to create a new song and release it through Beat Saber, like Untamed or One Hope.

Started playing Beat Saber 18 playing hours ago. I'm hooked! I was amazed by how fast you can get good and enjoy the game even more as you master harder and harder levels. On top of that, I'm a pretty fit guy, I train regularly HIIT type of training, but haven't had time nor will to do much running type of cardio for a very long time. As I was advancing in skill and nailing first hard mode full combos, then Expert full combos, in the last 12 playing hours of playing I've lost somewhere between 4-5kg! 🤯🤯 Not that I was looking to lose any extra weight, but with about 2 hours of playing daily in the past week, this was the result. Today I decided to put on my pulse watch. 1550kcal in 2,5h. That would be the equivalent of me running at decent pace of about 12km/h for 2 hours!! Again, so many positives from this game. From getting in shape, to improving coordination, and in the same time having tons of fun! Looking forward to what you guys have in store for the future. 🙌🙌

My favorite track of OST 7 is The Master. Both the track and visuals are amazing. Very easy to imagine a boss battle. Dev Bloqs are a great thing to see. Any plans to release roadmaps? As a non modder or custom song user I am more interested to know what music packs are in the works and if/when MR is going to be a playable feature.

Really like this Dev Bloq concept. It's always nice to get some more Behind the Scenes from one of your favorite Games! Also I just have to say the beatmaps are getting better and better. I managed to FC the new Camellia track Lustra on Expert on my first try, which I never thought possible, but this just shows how natural the flow of the beatmap is. ❤

Could we PLEASE get a fitness-themed music pack?? The only fitness songs so far are "fitbeat' and maybe "the Eye of the Tiger". We need extra long songs with lots of objects to dodge, fast notes with regular cadence and maybe some stretch Thanks!

Will we get any animated cut scenes or a switch between multiple environments mid level in new future OSTs? You have done this before with the BTS pack, with those small doll figures, but when I mean animated cut scenes I mean full on cut scenes that fit the song.

Woo! I love it when developers want to share what's going on with the game! With that, I have a few questions. 1. Is there a chance that we could see a road map of updates? Not necessarily DLC but new features to be added? (I.E Changes to the lighting system, engine level stuff, and bug fixes) 2. Will 360 and 90 degree levels return? Those are some of my favorite levels in the whole game and they're super fun. It would be great to see some of the newer packs adapted to have those levels.

Super cool that y'all are doing this! I am deeply appreciative of the amount of time the team has been putting into quality of life changes, overall development, and interacting with the community in such positive and productive ways. In the vein of remastering content, I have loved the reworked versions of legacy maps (Panic! at the Disco, Imagine Dragons, Linkin Park, etc.)! In the long term, are there any plans to remaster other DLCs or early OSTs & Extras? Especially in regards to the OST content, it would be wonderful to see the old tracks get a little love with the modern mapping styles and tools! Looking forward to the next bloq!

It would be really awesome to see a custom saber system similar to that of Halo Reach’s armor customization where the player can earn points and then spend those points on different pieces. For sabers, being able to get new blades, handles, trails, sounds, and other things would be super cool! Keep up the good work! Looking forward to hear about the new things coming to Beat Saber!

i very much doubt it as they will most likely come into legal issues however you can still play custom songs if you mod the game

Best track from OST 7 has to be lustre. Having a tribute to something as iconic as crystallized was just such an awesome surprise, the song itself is actually just amazing, and the map was very fun, clean, and actually had some nice representation too! Also wanna say as a beat saber player who’s more invested in the game than most, the controller settings update mentioned at 7:21 is gonna be REALLY nice. (And I think it goes without saying what i’m most excited for lol)

Q: Changing controller settings for the better really helps beating Ex and Ex+ maps. Currently, game features only simple sliders for changing rotation and position of the sabers. We would like to see enhancements to the feature: 1. Doing settings independently for each hand, because sometimes hands are not similar. 2. Featuring some in-game or online tutorial of how to get the settings just right.

Ooooo as someone who's dabbled in game design and BeatSaber custom map design, I love this series!!! I recently got out my headset after a bit of a hiatus, and was pleasantly surprised with not one but TWO updates, both of which have absolute bangers and truly stunning new environments and lighting. Amid all the other app updates, I said to myself on this "wow, these guys just do not know how to disappoint!" My favorite on the new OST has gotta be Lustre - I've even added it to my daily Spotify playlist. It's absolutely amazing, and gave me inspiration for how to pull off some ideas in my own songs I'm writing. Excited for all that's in store here!

I remember Camellia made the song Spin Eternally because of this, and yet 3 years later it still hasn't received 90°/360° modes. Keep up the great work! :D
