Man i did grow up in the hood (well the german version, but hood is hood am i right fam?), i lived on the streets at age 18, had a burnout at age 24. I lost hope in our species and in myself. I'm in the process of building myself up again. But i still tend to breakdown, so it is hard. BC of that i was looking for inspiration and maaaaan did i found it here! I always wanted to have my own garden, but i didn't thought i would EVER be able to reach it. You are showing me that it is indeed possible to get out of the struggle and into your own sustainable garden and a healthy life. Man i thank you so much! Please keep up that work and your channel. You having big impact on ppl, at least you're having a big impact on me! In Celsius the temperature is between 45C and 50C, very very hot ambient temperatures. And then the surface temperatures from any surface that is exposed to the sun, including surrounding buildings and patios and such, will be even higher. And those surfaces will radiate infrared heat with that much higher temperature. After a few days of intense warm weather the heat in objects, buildings, and the earth surface builds up even more, and the problem becomes even worse due to the increased infrared heat radiation. So shade and cooling helps a lot. 👍

Hi Chuck, awesome walk-through on the cooling options and your setup! While watching your video, an old video on home-made reflective paint crossed my mind, by this guy NightHawkInLight. Not sure how applicable it would be to coat the mesh you have there in something like that though. Another thing they use in India is polished aluminium for street vendor carts. It is possible to create a cold island around fresh produce as objects around create hot air pockets if not covered. Decided to share those ideas with you, hope the heat not going to be too punishing!
