About Vantastic: We are a happy couple who got rid of everything to travel the world. We make vlogs sharing our daily lives in a camper van, our ups and downs, and our adventures around Europe.
What camera equipment do you use?
We use GoPro10, Røde VideoMicro with a dead kitten, Ulanzi tripod mt-16, Ulanzi cage G9, Ulanzi vl49 light, DJ Mavic Pro drone and Adobe Premiere Pro to edit the vlogs. Our electrical power set-up in our camper van allows charging our camera and laptops to film and edit.
What is your van?
Our camper van is Fiat Ducato 2015, Adria Twin conversion panel van. We have done only minor upgrades and mods to our camper van, we pretty much love it as it is.
How do you afford your nomadic lifestyle?
We live on a true shoestring budget. We travel economically, we cook all our meals, we dont visit tourist traps, we enjoy being in the nature and hiking in the nature. We worked traditional office jobs for years and now we live on our savings and investments. We dont believe you need tons of money to to pursue your passion. However, we have learned that you do need to sacrifice comfort, consistency and safety, but that it is possible, very worth it, and the only lifestyle that makes us truly happy!

Great ideas to beat the heat! Putting your frozen fruit bowls in front of the fan helps to push that cooler air on you while you wait for it to melt. Great to see you two out at the bar as well. Life is good! Vanlife is tops!! ❤️🚚

I recomend a boxfan during summer. It fits into the skyroof (front and back) and realy helps in the heat! Great to see your videos 😀 I am so glad you didn't eat the frog legs! It is so cruel what they do to the frogs!!! Greetings from also very hot Germany.

Glad you got the lion tar tablets. I don’t know if you seen it, yesterday we watched Van Life with the Finnish journalist Aino Huilajas who quit her job and moved in to her van. We watched it on SVT play but I’m sure YLE has it too.

There is some space around the grills of the freezer, yes its more cramped space that the manual tells you to have, but it has worked nicely and the space back there doesnt get hot.

Our Greek friends also said we really need to try the frog legs. But after seeing the murky water in a lake we wanted to go to normal restaurant to eat haha. Ioannina is very vibrant town, so much young people everywhere we felt so old among them.
